VANCOUVER INTERNATIONAL ART FAIR
MAY 26 - 29, 2016 VANCOUVER CONVENTION CENTRE
WWW.ARTVANCOUVER.NET INFO@ARTVANCOUVER.NET PRESENTED BY:

Success Stories Art! Vancouver 2016, a Vancouver-based international art fair set for May 26 – 29, 2016, is anticipated to be a spectacular event, as it follows the success of the inaugural Art! Vancouver exhibition in May 2015. Along with a number of artists and galleries returning for their 2nd year, the event will also feature several news exhibitors visiting from throughout the globe looking to connect with local and international art-lovers alike. With the success of Art! Vancouver 2015, followed the prosperity of the event’s exhibitors. Some of the most interesting success stories came from exhibiting independent artists, who developed key relationships and partnerships with recognized gallery representatives and art collectors that attended. In one case, Art! Vancouver 2015 exhibitor Andres Dorigo, an Argentinian artist, was spotted by a prominent collector, who not only purchased Dorigo’s work, but also hired him to live in their home in Hawaii to paint at Dorigo’s leisure. Through this connection, Dorigo’s work will be displayed in New York, Australia, and Hawaii in the coming year. Another interesting story is Charles Gitnick, a 13-year old American artist, who was scouted at Art! Vancouver by a Montreal gallery. The gallery then invited Gitnick to exhibit at Art Manoco, where he was picked up by a gallery in Zurich, Switzerland for representation.
Michele Righetti. WAKE UP! IT'S TIME TO START.
Other stories include the Michele Righetti Gallery, whose one of many art-piece buyers and connections included a famous movie producer and art collector. As well as Taisha Teal, a Canadian artist, who was scouted by Burt’s Bees through the Art! Vancouver website, and invited to participate in a product launch and to exhibit at a Toronto launch party. These are just a few great examples of success stories from both artists and galleries at Art! Vancouver 2015, and with the 2016 event in the horizon, further success stories are likely to come from Vancouver’s premiere international art exhibition. You can view Andres Dorigo’s, Michele Righetti Gallery’s, and Taisa Teal’s work this May as they will all exhibit at Art! Vancouver 2016. Art! Vancouver 2016 Information: Art! Vancouver 2016 will present returning features including the “Face of Art” artist-runway, an art professional speaker series, and an opening night gala. New elements include the 15 Minutes of Fame speaker series (exhibitor speakers) and a VIP program including an exclusive VIP preview and Vancouverbased art tours. Art! Vancouver 2016 takes place May 26 – 29, 2016, in the Vancouver Convention Centre’s East building. For more information about exhibiting or attending please visit www. artvancouver.net.

point of interest HELP HOPE NEPAL MURAL winners
I want to extend my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Rick Barnett, Linda Mariano, and Redwood Media for presenting me with the Director’s Award for the Hope-Help-Nepal Mural, which was exhibited at the Contemporary Art Projects USA booth during Spectrum Miami 2016. I also want to thank Silvia Medina for Curating the wall, and Ileana Collazo and Maria Teresa Azucena for their collaboration in the project and to all participants artists. Help-Hope-Nepal spilled beyond the traditional boundaries of the art fair format with the special mission of bringing together over 300 national and international artist, and to have them each create a special artwork to donate funds for the victims of the 2015 Nepal earthquake. I must admit that the project was quite a mission to organize, but I am proud to say that each day the crowd waited patiently for the visitors in the front to move so that another group could move near for a close look.
Tata Fernandez receiving Director's Awad from Rick Barnett.
Half of the registration fee and a portion of the art sale revenue from the 39 pieces sold were donated to the victims, but the biggest triumph of the project was the awareness that it created for the visitors that art can send powerful messages, as well as reach out to many people in a very special way to move them to help those in need.
Spectrum’s selection committee, under the direction of Linda Marino, Director of Marketing and Curating Committee, awarded commendations to the following artists for their excellent works: Lola Savoy - First Place Paolo Ambu - Second Palce Julius Njau - Third Place

THE MANIFESTATION OF THE DIVINE. Mixed media and gold leaf on canvas.39.5" x 31.5"
Luis Alberto Hernandez - Venezuela Invited Artist Luis Alberto Hernández (b. 1950, Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela) has studied in depth sacred traditions such as occult philosophy, spiritual legacies, initiatory experiences, and alchemy, Divine symbols that have given great spiritual insight throughout his artistic reflection. His artistic idea enters different modes of religious expression, to end in a metaphor of the sacred that he has agreed to be defined as a Poetry of the Sacred. His creations are far from classical conceptions. They are linked to the valuation of religious emotion in closer proximity to an original vision of the world as sacred revelation, experienced as a mystery and never as knowledge. “Poetry of the Sacred”, “Ceremonial”, “Epiphanies” “Sacred scriptures”, “Ritual Scriptures”, “Enchantment”, “Devotion”, “Theophanies”, “Offerings”, “Spirit and Memory” are some titles of exhibition projects since 1989 identify the artist’s intention to build a connection metaphorically sacred. 20 • Art & Beyond • January/February 2016

NUDITY. SERIES MY MIRROR, BOLIVIA REVEALED. Textile digital printing canvas dimensional kinetic. 31.8" x 61.7"
Maria Fernanda Lairet-Venezuela The digital revolution has given birth to visual techniques and languages that have opened doors to new dimensional realities where space and time have stopped being the final frontiers, as cyberspace has exponentially broadened the horizon. This transformation is reflected in Maria Fernanda Lairet’s work – composed of ethereal mural subjects and the conversion of paper money to a virtual reality that synthesizes the economic icons and the culture that gravitate toward globalization; as well as the tension of diversity. This contemporary atmosphere is generating an unedited notion of human culture, an echo of the planetary conscience that conflicts with regionalism and isolation. With this language, fused with digital photography and the manipulation of the software that opens new possibilities to creativity – in Latin America – Lairet has created an echo within this dimensions of reality via virtual collage. These works are integrated by esthetic layers through a complex process of experimentation and conceptualization, employing geometrics in a manner that the frame disappears into a void, and transparencies create visual dimensions that lead the viewer to a sort of neo-cynicism. Maria Fernanda avoids fastidious expressionism by introducing colors that harmonize with the mandalas, in her basic technique of photography, as well as in her digital collages; the new technologies allowing the creative to have an immediate vision of the end result, making it possible to mingle into the same discourse the wished for and the realized; as is the case with her series of the salt beds of Uyini, Bolivia, where nature performs in primeval landscapes; the salt bed a gigantic mirror reflecting the sky and earth embracing; re-enforcing the esthetic impact of each of the photographs taken, turning each instance into a creative ritual. The paper money icon collages seeking the essence of reality – its sacred dimension – and introducing the elements that transmit the cosmic apathy and the mystery of the origin of life. The whole is united with the portion with the same finality, turning it into the esthetic of knowledge and visual poetry. Jorge Cavelier-Colombia Jorge Cavelier was born in Bogotá, Colombia. After a brief incursion in architecture and a year of painting at New York University, Jorge Cavelier traveled to study in Florence, Italy in the Accademia di Belle Arti di Firenze where he finished his BFA in 1982. Returning to Colombia the same year he founded “Trazo” an open studio in Bogotá. He worked and taught painting techniques there until 1987. His painting style depends on the technique he uses. He also uses the same techniques that the old masters used to prepare the canvas, and best kinds of oils suited for the painting. After 1988, he painted in his private studio in Colombia until June 1999, the year he was kidnapped by the guerrilla group “FARC” in Colombia. Released in 2000, he traveled to the U.S. where he decided to migrate. After being granted with an “extraordinary ability” permanent residence visa, he relocated in the city of Key Biscayne, FL where he has been living and working for the last 12 years. He has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions since 1983 in Bogotá and Santa Marta, Colombia; New York and South Hampton, NY; Miami and Tallahassee, FL; Chicago, IL; Atlanta, GA; Quito, Ecuador; Lima, Perú, Buenos Aires, Argentina; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; Montevideo, Uruguay; Caracas, Venezuela; Seravezza, Florence, and Rome, Italy; Tokyo, Japan; and Pretoria, South Africa. His first sculpture series came to light in 2007. Exhibitions of those works where shown in Miami, FL in 2007, Bogotá, Colombia, in 2008, and New York, N.Y. in 2011. Nowadays, he works on his series of paintings and sculptures “Labyrinths”, to be shown in private and public spaces in Colombia and the U.S.

Kelly Fischer-Switzerland Scaffolding allows me to break up my creative process into chunks of raw, exposed color. It provides me with the tools to write my own script, layer upon layer on an empty canvas. During Art Basel week in Miami 2015 I was able to present several pieces of artwork that showcased the first phase of “Scaffolding I”. Scaffolding II is the second phase and there is a deeper concentration devoted to smoothing over the rough edges and to beatify. By combining colors that represent both the Northern Lights and Southern Lights, my intention is to present artwork that offers an entrancing, dramatic, magical display that fascinates. Next Exhibition: Indians Wells Spectrum/California.

Maria Ana Davila-Mexico Reflexions on water are the thoughts, meditations, ruminations, joy and love, that each of us reflects from oneself. It is completely personal; it is ourselves looking deep inside, with our own contrasts, focused or unfocused, with our pale or vivid memories, our shadows, lights and sharp edges. We can be quiet or stormy water but there is always beauty. Through organic abstract art I see that we form part of nature, just as we are stardust, drops of water or reflexions on water. We are unique and unrepeatable the same way the water captured in an instant. It will never be the same, I can never repeat the same instant with the same reflection again, and we are like this. I can see my reflexions on water… Artwork presented by Contemporary Art Project USA at Art Palm Beach 2016, Booth 106 www.contemporaryartprojectsusa.com

MOON WARHOL. Lenticular Print.40" x 40"
Maquiamelo-Colombia Maquiamelo’s work has the power to simultaneously awaken all different types of considerations. The Divas, the latest of his series, in which he employs a head shrinking technique to portray Hollywood stars, not only makes us reconsider the meaning of the artistic resurrection of a pre-Columbian practice and its connotations of rebellion against the history of art, but it also leads us to meditate on topics like the relativity of aesthetics, the power of the film language, the vast knowledge of people considered primitive, the futility of the tinsel, and the critical ability of art. Another topic is the role of figurative sculpture in the contemporary artistic field. After statuary, and the aspirations of a foolproof modernist originality, figurative sculpture seemed to retreat before the onslaught of the installations and the readymades. In recent times, though, there have been artists like Maquiamelo who conceptually confronts sculpture as a way to transmit knowledge, to communicate ideas and meanings, and as a starting point for the exploration of values within an extensive social panorama. His work represents not just a vindication, but a reinvention and a redefinition of figurative sculpture, and also an inquiring look into uncharted artistic and social arguments that are relevant, nowadays, to
convey through the three-dimensional representation of the human figure. His Divas are not beautiful anymore, for now they are unarguably dead, humiliated, turned into repulsive though suggestive and intriguing objects; and this is the way the viewer gets introduced. These are works with a high symbolic value that could be related to the Vanitas paintings of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, as they clearly allude to vanity, to the emptiness and insignificance of beauty, and the fortune or power of the certainty of death. These are works, therefore, that combine the validity of an enduring content with an experimental spirit that thrives languages, not just extra-artistic, but peripheral, highlighting a huge creative and expressive freedom, the main characteristic of contemporary art. Martin Schoffel-Venezuela A Venezuelan-Austrian artist he dedicates his life to create kinetic Art. At a very young age Martin Schoffel discovers his love for art and starts working with freehand geometric drawings. After several years, his art turned into a passion for geometric and kinetic art. At the beginning of his artistic career he uses simple materials like paper and pencil, later his interest for colors grows as well as for new materials such as wood, acrylics, aluminum and photography among others. This experience enhances his work and reinforces his desire to create movement effects in his art with overlaid elements and edited images. As a result we find his pieces framed into the so-called Kinetic Art. Artwork presented by Contemporary Art Project USA at Art Palm Beach 2016, Booth 106 www.contemporaryartprojectsusa.com

SERIES "PEOPLE". Photography printed Metallic Paper mounted on Plexiglass, 10" x 15.7"
Samah El Hage-Sweden “When we are born, we are born with an empty blank paper with no definition of who we are. The paper is then filled up with our own story, our life decisions, the many roads and journeys we make. Each person has their own unique history built up from the choices we make and the different experiences we’ve had such as love, happiness, courage and regrets. My photography work for the theme “people” explores and gives insight to the story behind the person in the artwork. I want to awaken and leave the viewer with a glimpse of an emotional feeling with a blend of creativity of their personality. INTERSECTION. Photography printed on Metallic Paper, 22" x 40"
Grace Berge-USA With an absolute love for nature and a background in art therapy and observation, I combine my passions for photography, nature, discovery, and exploration to create imagery. The specifics and details of what I observe blend together in my mind’s eye, and it is that blending, that compilation and abstraction of specific moments, that I hope to capture in my current body of work. If I had to put words to it, I might call it “post-modern neo-impressionism”, but what it really amounts to is a combining and softening of environment and time into images that I hope encompass many moments, many thoughts, many feelings. The images I create – in-camera, sans digital manipulation – simplify what the bare eye sees, turning it into what we perceive when we look with a softer gaze, observing the essence rather than the specifics. It is a kind of minimalism, a reduction into sheer line, color, and movement, that represents something unclear which nevertheless feels familiar and recognizable. My photographs may take the viewers into an ethereal, tranquil, otherwordly place, one that prompts us to question our assumptions and find new answers. It is my sincere hope that these images inspire others to look more deeply into our natural world, to find in it, as I do, serenity and healing. THE WINNER. Bronze Sculpture. 60" x 19" x 15"
Fermin Fleites-Cuba This sculpture is a re-creation of a key symbol of humanity’s great religions throughout history; a symbol that demarcates the birth of symbolic sacrifice, and simultaneously its disruption. The lamb is present in Abraham son’s sacrifice, but this is not the first time that it was introduced, as it has been present as a metaphor of great transcendence for obedience, constancy, sacrifice, and resurrection since Paleo Cristian art. In present times, the lamb appears in Jewish liturgy, the Muslim “Eid Al Adha’, as a base for Christian rituals, and also in some Hindu mantras such as “Upanishad”. “El Ganador” is supported by a rod from the New York to Key West railroad built by Flagler, which was to eventually reach Havana. This sculpture is a metaphor of the constancy of re-inventing, and of the attitudes that make great changes possible. COLD CITY. Acrylic on Canvas, 24" x 24"
Maruka Carvajal I was born in Bolivia, and I am a naturalized Spaniard. I have lived in Brazil, Singapore, Colombia, and currently in Washington DC. I was educated to be an architect but my passion led me to dedicate myself to the visual arts instead. I enjoy painting so much! It is a chance to get involved with my thoughts, my memories and my feelings; it's my moment. When I start a painting I always choose colors first; without thinking maybe it's just intuitively or sometimes based on my mood. In my art I like to explore the abstract secrets of cities I have lived in, cities I have passed through, and cities I hope to visit. I bring out the similarities between cities around the world, capturing their true nature. Using different shapes, lines, and vibrant colors I interpret onto my canvas the emotions that cities awaken inside of me. I recall my experiences in different cities that have impacted me and I look into that past at the feelings that came over me in those moments. Some artists inspire me, especially Hans Hoffman because of his exuberant use of color, the relationship between them, and the spatial tension. I use different acrylics in different to express myself. My strokes reflect my visual language and respond to the impulse to fill 38 • Art & Beyond • January/February 2016
the canvas. Using geometric shapes adds structural order to how freely I use colors. In addition, I like to use both paint that is slightly watered down and pain that is thicker. To me this combination of shapes and my free use of colors along with varying viscosities of paint is the most appealing part of my creative process. The colorful nature of my painting makes them stand out and appear bright. Vibrant colors are very powerful tools and I am able to manage their effect on a composition. I am fascinated by cities because they are short-lived but form a long lasting memory. I think my paintings serve the purpose I intended and convey what I want them to. My goal is to make the viewer curious about the meaning behind my painting. I expect my work to represent the places that I have had the fortune to visit or have lived in and I hope it shares these places with the viewer inviting them to take an emotional journey where their spirit can drive free. www.marukacarvajal.com

OF CLOGS AND WINDMILLS ALBUM. A continuous story painting in a folding album which is accordion like rice paper leaves. Done in traditional Chinese Styles with ink/watercolor, 30" x 15"
Debbi Chan Born and raised in the metropolis of Houston where the glare of sunlit skyscrapers the landscape I was most familiar with did not stop the smooth transition to a landscape of pines and snow in Idaho. What the surprise move did was open my creative mind and allow me to expand and my art to grow. I took up three new mediums and set my schedule to allow for art to be the focus of my time. The mediums were new but I managed to keep to the traditional Chinese style which I took up almost 15 years ago. Days for me are all about art . Making it keeps me busy and rarely does a day go by without it. If not painting I am gathering for it. Looking out my windows I see the vastness of nature about me and watch wildlife romping that I previously could only have seen in a zoo behind bars. My tight drawings loosened and the subjects I once was afraid of painting flow across the leaves of 70 ft. Continuous story

paintings in jumbo folding albums, my newest passion. They are being shown currently at Magnuson Gallery in Kendrick Idaho while awaiting a future home hopefully with WSU in their art museum. After completion I now publish each album as a wordless magazine and make them available to the public. And now the albums are coming to life in galleries you can carry in your pocket. The amazing 3-D app EXHIBBIT allows me to have entire albums on the wall. I have two shows open to the public now and a third will be open any day. You will most likely run into my blogs as well. Hopefully the albums will find their way to a permanent museum that appreciates story telling with art and without words. My time is still about making the art. Nira Chorev "Following My Nature" My art is about my connection with nature. Memories from childhood of the scents, colors, sounds, and textures have inspired me to paint the world of through eyes that see the wind in a field of tall grasses moving like waves on the sea, feel tranquility in the lily pad floating on a pond, or witness the rare stillness of a bird resting on a branch. The desire to paint nature and capture such moments ignites a passion within me. In the natural world I feel that I can understand
the beginning of everything through the rocks, the trees, the sound of running water, the flight of birds to freedom -- and through these paintings it is my intention that the viewer will experience this sense of belonging and our universal connection with nature. I hope you enjoy what I see when I’m Following My Nature. https://nirachorev.wordpress.com

BIRDGARDEN III. Acrylic on Canvas, 80 cm x 120 cm
Gabi Domenig is a through and through figurative Austrian artist. Since her early childhood she was attracted to the fine arts. She took classes in nude painting, color theory, drawing and composition. Especially charcoal, red chalk and pastels on paper and primed wood panels were the medium in the nineties. After her first show in 1999, when she presented 20 large pastel paintings to the public, she began to paint with acrylics on canvas. The strong and bright colors and the way of working with acrylics approached to her nature. She tries to capture moments and build up emotional tensions. She does not want to shock, stir up or provoke. The viewer of her images should be touched by a positive energy. For her art should be life-affirming and beautiful, touching and connecting. A language without words. She paints mostly with acrylic colors and concerns herself primarily with the representation of man and especially of women. Her characters send out varied emotions such as 42 • Art & Beyond • January/February 2016
pride, pain, love, sadness, loneliness, joy and longing. They are sensuous, strong, vulnerable, thoughtful, dreamy, seductive, promising and cautious. For the most part the figures are located in a particular environment cutout. The expression of the eyes should draw the viewer into its spell and animate him to enter in a deeper communication with the figures in the picture. Flowers, plants, animals, patterns and landscape sections are decorative parts, but are usually situated in the background. Because of her strong color palette she is assigned to the Neo-Expressionism. Participation in many international exhibitions in Austria, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, South America and USA. She got 6 Awards in the last 2 years. Anna Maria Giordano A neapolitan, Anna moved to Gaeta twenty years ago. After leaving her previous job in 1999, she dedicated herself entirely to the figurative arts. She started with making and decorating ceramics (such as jugs, vases, plates, tiles....), and afterwards moved almost naturally to painting. Her first painting experiences were strictly figurative, and then, after gaining more skills, she moved gradually to the abstract paintings. She normally uses acrylic colours on canvas, wood or mason wood, but 44 • Art & Beyond • January/February 2016
sometimes also mixed media (inclusion of paper, pumice or gauze integrated with the acrylic paint). "The artworks of the Artist Giordano distinguish themselves by the intimacy concealed behind the represented subjects. She has succeeded, through a careful and creative research, in creating a personal style and her own visual language, from which express the deeper emotions. So she shows us the complexity of the world and sentiments, originating compositions that have great communicative value. Anna

Giordano goes beyond simple aesthetic representation, her artworks investigate new realities through a chromatic language, that underlines the unspoken values of the sign and a pictures dialectic full of poetical emotions". – Josè Van Roy Dalì, ("Artista nella Storia", 2015).
"The love of the surreal and the abstract invested the creativity of Anna Giordano that makes use of symbols generally accepted in order to make the viewer better discern the description of the pictorial contents. This goes also with vivid colours that emphasize masterfully the pictorial lines. The painter, master of sonic and colours, is supported by his
talent, impetuous interpreter of his sensitive soul". – Sandro Serradifalco, ("Eccellenze”, 2015).
"A great skill in transfiguring the abstract, with very good versatility and astonishment aimed at the research of an emotive project. Anna Giordano creates her characterized and symbolic intuitive projections, by superimposing signs and symbols of rich material drawing up". – Jean Charles Spina, ("1st Grand Prix Côte d’Azur”, 2015). www.webalice.it/amagiord amagiord@alice.it

STEVEN LUSTIG Art - Breath - Movement This art is born out of a love of the human form and its natural motion. It is powerful, passionate, and embraces both human and natural forms. Steven was born and raised near the North Shore of Chicago where he began drawing at a age five. In high school he met a regionally known sculptor and began his fine arts education. During that time, Steven was given a copy of Gray’s Anatomy. He became fascinated by what he saw and immediately began to draw directly from the book, changing the course of his life and starting a lifelong study of the human form. Steven received an art scholarship to Bradley University. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with an emphasis on Bio-technical Illustration. While at the University of Illinois, Steven began to work for the Biomechanical Engineering department. His early work combining computers, art, and human motion became the genesis of Steven’s fine art, regardless of media. He would 54 • Art & Beyond • January/February 2016
go on to draw, paint and sculpt thousands of interpretations of the human form in his own distinctive style. In 1982 Steven moved to Southern California for the opportunity to work at an Olympic research center focused on Sports Medicine and Biomechical Engineering. Looking to the future, Steve quickly recognized the promise of what computer illustration could bring to traditional graphic design techniques. After seven years of working in corporate presentation graphics, Steven founded BioDesign Communications in 1989. BioDesign was a highly specialized computer graphics company supplying creative illustrations to the Life Science, Medical Device, and Healthcare industries. Steven has produced medical and life science images for companies around the world, and has illustrated four books, completed a series of life science illustrations for the Nobel Prize winner for Chemistry at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California. Throughout this time Steven continued to draw and sculpt, dedicating his life to the arts. His fascination with drawing the human form continues to ignite his creative talent and provides him with an endless supply of material. Steven currently teaches a stone sculpting class at the Laguna College of Art & Design. In addition to working as an Illustrator and fine artist, Steven has been the Cultural Arts Chair for the CA PTA and a leading art advocate Statewide. For the past twelve years Steven has been a volunteer legislative advocate, recruiting and training parents, running legislative junkets to Sacramento and leading parents in the cause of public education. Sandy Den Hartog is a Native Californian. She now resides in Lake Havasu City Arizona. Her current home, she and her husband had built for themselves, faces the water with the desert a short distance behind and as a backdrop a dramatic and rather large mountain range. With this view Sandy has taken the time to absorb the impact of this beauty and pieced together jewelry that exemplifies each geographical characteristic, blending them into original jewelry objects.
Her work covers a wide range of Style, from Ethnic, Classic, to Over the Top and Everyday Chic. She refers to herself as displaying "ARTISTIC FREEDOM." Sandy loves to mix everything up. The old with the new, and the big with the small. Although quite versatile in her design she leans toward the large and Ethnic Style. Many of Her Designs are created as she sleeps. She considers them to be her most excellent art pieces.
She is an Award Winning Artist. Sandy has placed in numerous Juried Art Shows throughout Arizona. Her romantic pieces of art continue to be showcased at David Rafaels in the Palace Hotel in San Francisco. Other distinguished pieces of jewelry designed completely from within her personal workshop are in the James Ratliff Gallery in Sedona, Arizona. Malouf on The Plaza in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is a self taught artist. Her jewelry displays both serene and harmonious qualities that have been regarded as the highest of models.
Gemstones and Artifacts used in her talented designs have been found in her many World Wide Travels. These and and so much more from the nations she has visited, are incorporated into the designs made by Sandy.
