Care can be defined as the provision of what is necessary for the health, welfare, maintenance, and protection of someone or something. Taking care can also denote the serious attention or consideration given to doing something well. The Care Factor exhibition brings together ten artists working in the field of photography, who demonstrate care, both in their choice of subject matter and in their craft. These caring and careful artists give us reason to take pause and reflect on humanity.

22 designers, artists or art collectives will explore, research and make; working with key community groups, developing a response to what they find, in the place, at the place.
The Rosebank project begins with the premise that through a better knowledge of place, communities grow and that culture is the mechanism by which this occurs. The project is centered in the industrial precinct and suburban area of Rosebank Rd in Auckland, New Zealand.

Sixty years on, the borrowed title serves as a starting point for the exhibiting artists to look at queer notions of love. Ephemeral and abstract, personal and universal, social and political, love comes to the fore. SHOULD LOVE COME FIRST? engages with the complexities of love.
In 1951 recently married American artist Robert Rauschenberg made SHOULD LOVE COME FIRST? as he commenced a love affair with fellow male artist Cy Twombly. The original artwork featured the artist’s footprint opposite a diagram showing the male steps for the waltz.
In association with the Auckland Pride festival Artstation is proud to present a group show including the work of Sarah Murphy, Ponti, Deborah Rundle and Layne Waerea.
