Welcome to ART+OBJECT’s current fine art catalogue. In recent years A+O has made a virtue of standalone and distinct photography catalogues. This has been out of a desire to approach the medium on its own merits and allow collectors to focus on the variety of practice and manifestations unique to the medium in both traditional (or analogue as it has latterly come to be referred to) and digital iterations.
At the same time as photography can be referred to a specific genre it also simply art and this is ultimately the context the work is created within and refers to. In this catalogue A+O has chosen to exhibit and contextualize photography within this wider perspective and suggest a conversation between all forms of art.
