1. Trim heavy chipboard to 10 x 13 cm. 2. Cover each panel front and back with old book sheets, adhered with gel medium. 3. Emboss kraft cardstock with embossing folders (2 of Only One and 1 of Velvet Tea Lights) 4. Trim decorative border from Only One folder, and adhere to top and bottom of two panels. 5. Cut Velvet Tea Lights to fit inside a panel and adhere in place. 6. Roughly paint with gesso, allow to dry and mist with spray mists of your choice. 7. Dry brush black paint around edges, when dry, swipe gold paint over the top of black paint, highlighting all of the embossing. 8. Adhere braid to bottom of each panel. 9. Cut two Royal Ovals and one Ornate Rectangle from light weight cardstock and emboss with old embossing powder. Trim and cut black cardstock to fit the back of each frame. Adhere the frames to panels with 3 D foam tape. 10. Punch holes into the sides of panel, with a crop-a-dile and thread through ribbon and tie off. Make sure you line up the holes. 11. Cut out Aurora Vine leaves from green cardstock, dry brush with gesso and trim. Cluster together with assorted paper flowers to the sides of the frames. 12. Add some metal trinkets as desired. Affix a few pearls around the panels and swipe with gold paint. Add titles.

Step-by-step
My Heart, My Family by Tracey Cooley Tracey assembles a brilliant example of a family tree using some of the fabulous dies in our Van Roe collection.

1. On grey cardstock use the largest Victorian Square Nesting Die, place on the edge of the page at bottom left hand corner and trace the edge with a pencil. Repeat this with the next size of nesting die and cut out. 2. Place an alternate coloured cardstock behind cut out sections, pierce small holes along the Victorian edge with paper piercer. Use a black pen to hand draw thin doodle lines around edge of base cardstock. 3. Take 3 sheets of darker grey card and cut as many Lucky Trees as possible. Cut 6 Lucky Trees from an alternate colour. Don’t worry about the trunk part of the tree as it is not that important to the inner part of your tree, but you will need 2 full Lucky Trees for its trunk. 4. Starting from the top of base cardstock start building family tree by laying out the tree form first. 5. Once you are happy with the outside shape of family tree, adhere the outside layer to base. Add Lucky Trees to form layers until the tree is full. Place the alternate colour trees in amongst the other foliage along the way as shown. 6. Add a touch of Crystalina Glitter Glue to the alternate coloured foliage for a bit of pizazz. 7. Finish off tree by adhering 2 Lucky Trees side by side to form a thicker trunk using the foliage to cover the last of stems from the bulk of the tree. 8. Die cut Royal Oval and Elegant Square Frames for family member photos from black cardstock. Print your family’s photographs and cut out their portraits with the same dies so they fit snug inside the black frames. Adhere to family tree with 3D Foam Mounting Squares. Add title and Voila!
Step-by-step 1. Mix texture paste with gesso and spread a thin layer onto scrap paper, take a piece of scrap bubble wrap and push onto paste mix on scrap, transfer to cardstock base and let dry! 2. Add some paint to paste mix to add colour and brush over bubble texture randomly, let dry. Add a small amount of Crystalina glitter glue to add sparkle. Set aside to dry! 3. Die cut 1 Photo Strip & 1 Ballet Tutu from kraft cardstock, 4 Lucky Trees from green cardstock, 2 Beautiful Butterflies and 1 Sign Post from white cardstock, 1 Royal Oval & Discover from black cardstock, 4. Cut Honeycomb Strips from newsprint vellum, 1 Royal Oval & 1 Large Victorian Square Nesting Die from a pattern paper. Ink edges of Ballet Tutu, Honeycomb and Victorian Square with black ink using a Sponge Dauber. 5. Arrange all die cuts on base as in photo. Ink around entire edge of layout with black ink. 6. Print one large and one small photo, cut out the main subject using scissors or craft knife. Place the larger image over the Victorian Square and the smaller in faux mirror. When you are happy with your arrangement adhere all pieces into place using double sided tape. 7. Embellish layout with small flowers and gemstones on the butterfly bodies and spread some Crystalina glitter glue on the butterfly wings.
Handy Hint
Try using a Heat Tool to speed up the drying process BUT be careful! Heat Tools are not like hair dryers and can produce a great deal of heat very quickly.

Handy Hint
Add a bit of shimmer to flowers by smearing the tops of flowers with glitter glue applied by your finger!
1. Lightly sand background Core’dinations cardstock using sanding block to allow some of the core colour to show through giving your cardstock that aged vintage look. 2. Emboss two pieces of lighter blue cardstock using Only One embossing folder and lightly sand embossed sections. 3. Cut embossed sections out and distress edges using the blade of scissors 4. Cut a strip of kraft coloured cardstock 1cm x 30cm and emboss using Small Dots embossing folder running it through the centre slot in the embossing folder, distress edges. 5. Cut 1 piece of script patterned paper 25cm x 20cm and 1 piece of patterned paper 10cm x 30cm and distress all the edges using scissor blade. 6. Die cut 3 of each of 2 different size Rose Nesting Dies, cut each piece to create petals and layer together. Pierce a hole through all layers and insert stamens. Spray all layers with water and scrunch all layers towards the middle and then unfurl to create flower, set aside to dry 7. Spray rose trim and white paper flowers with walnut ink and set aside to dry 8. Die cut 1 sign post and write your date on it 9. Cut a banner from scrap of blue cardstock and a rectangle from scrap of kraft card, distress all the edges along with the edges of your photo. 10. Adhere background papers to base using double sided tape 11. Adhere small dot embossed strip to the top of patterned paper and embossed pieces along the bottom of patterned paper and rose trim using double sided tape 12. Apply foam mounting tape to the top and bottom only of your photo approx 5mm from the edges and adhere 13. Adhere embossed sections to the top and bottom of photo using doubled sided tape sliding them both just under the photo 14. Create a journaling tag by cutting a scrap of blue cardstock to 6cm x 10cm this will slide under the left side of your photo, attach a sentiment and the Sign Post die cut to the tag 15. Die cut 1 of each Discover and Journey words and adhere to page along with some alpha stickers and die cut words 16. Finish off by attaching a row of pearls to either side of Small Dot embossed strip and attach flowers using 3D glue spots

1. Trim 1 cm off two sides of cream cardstock 2. Cut a random wavy edge with scissors, distress edges and ink with black ink. Adhere to black cardstock using 18mm tape. Sew around the edges with black floss. 3. Roughly brush gesso across the middle of the page and allow to dry. 4. Spritz with mists, I have used marmalade and coffee shop, allow to dry and then stamp a script image randomly over the layout. 5. Emboss cream cardstock with Babette folder 4 times, trim cardstock to size of folder. 6. Spritz with mists and ink the raised areas with brown and black ink. 7. Trim the semicircular piece off 3 of the panels, arrange with Handy Hint photo as pictured and adhere to layout. Ink lightly so that you only colour the raised areas of 8. Add fringed trim under photo the embossing folder. and assorted embellishments to the right hand corner of photo. 9. Cut 2 Keys and emboss with gold embossing powder, adhere over the Babette folder to the right of the photo. 10. Cut Journey die from black cardstock and adhere to top of layout. 11. Add a few strips of washi tape, chipboard corner, extra clock and brads. 12. Finish with a row of gemstones along the clock edge to the left of photo.
Step-by-step 1. Distress edges of background paper, randomly stamp several clear stamps with white paint, leave to dry. 2. Place 5 pieces of Core’dinations cardstock in Large Wire Barbs embossing folder and emboss cardstock with manual embossing machine. 3. Randomly apply different coloured distress paints to all pieces of embossed cardstock, leave to dry, gently sand with Sanding Block then rub vintage photo distress ink with a sponge dauber all over embossed cardstock. 4. Gently tear up all painted embossed cardstock with your hands and distress edges using scissor blades, place on background paper as shown in photograph, layering each on top. Mat photo with black cardstock and adhere on top of embossed papers as shown. 5. Cut several flowers and vine leaves with Retro Flowers die, curl each petal of the flowers with a bamboo stick, attach a brad or stud through each flower and arrange around photo, adhere flowers with doubled sided tape and foam tape, as shown in photograph. 6. Using the Aurora Vine die cut several pieces with kraft cardstock and place under flowers with doubled sided tape. 7. Decorate page with other embellishments such are twine, mesh and adhere sentiment using foam tape.
Handy Hint
If you don’t have a background stamp use your embossing folder as a stamp, make sure to wash the ink or paint off it straight away.

Construction of Card: 1. After scoring the card base, fold the card in half. 2. Emboss the top layer with the A4 Tied Together Embossing Folder. With double sided tape, attach this to layer 1.

Step-by-step { Box }
1. After scoring the card base, fold the card in half. 2. Emboss the top layer with the A4 Tied Together Embossing Folder. With double sided tape, attach this to layer 1. 3. Cut one Mirror Mirror Ornamental Lace die from white cardstock. From the Nested Circle die, cut one circle that fits in the center of the Mirror Mirror die. Stamp your chosen sentiment onto the circle. 4. Attach this circle to the Mirror Mirror die cut with foam tape and attach this to the front of the card with more foam tape. 5. Using the adhesive backed pearls, stick some onto the Mirror Mirror die. 6. Make a pretty bow from organza ribbon and attach it to the top of the die cut.
1. Cut out the grey squares shown in the box base image shown above. 2. Run the piece through your embossing machine using the Tied Together A4 embossing folder. 3. Apply double sided tape along two sides and glue the box together. 4. Using the same ribbon you used on the card for the bow, attach a piece around the box. 5. Take a circle punch and cut a notch out of the front of the box to grip the card with.

MEET COUTURE CREATIONS GLITZIN' GLAMOUR GLITTER GLUE!
HERE ARE JUST A FEW WAYS YOU CAN USE GLITZIN' GLAMOUR TO MAKE YOUR PROJECTS SPARKLE!
Highlight your flower petals for some additional bling! Use your Couture Creations embossing stylus to spread out multiple glitter glues and blend them into each other!
Gently apply, red glitter glue around a die cut heart, rub with your finger around the edges and leave to dry!
Die cut Albert & Simonetta using thin metal, colour dress and suit using an alcohol or solvent based ink. Allow to dry, then coat entire surface with Glitzin' Glamour Glitter Glue to add sparkle!
Create faux opal finish embellishments
Create a Stained Glass Effect using an Embossing folder and a piece of acetate, fussy cut the embossed image
