1961

Nel 1961, nasceva Rondine S.p.A, nucleo fondante dell'attuale Ceramica Rondine, leader internazionale nella produzione di ceramiche per pavimenti, rivestimenti e battiscopa in gres porcellanato.

1997

Il 1997 è un anno di svolta, con l'ingresso di un nuovo management che imprime un nuovo impulso a livello gestionale, commerciale e produttivo.

2001

Nel settembre del 2001 viene inaugurato l'impianto di produzione della sede di Rubiera, completamente rinnovato, tecnologicamente avanzato, dedicato alla produzione di gres porcellanato.

2011

Nuovo assetto societario nel Dicembre 2011. Lauro Giacobazzi e famiglia, ed il fondo di private equity PROGRESSIO SGR, già soci di riferimento, hanno acquisito la totalità delle azioni di Ceramica Rondine S.p.A.

2005

È del maggio 2005 l'acquisizione di SprayDry, azienda sassolese produttrice di atomizzato, che consente a Ceramica Rondine di compiere un importante salto di qualità realizzando in questo modo l'intero ciclo produttivo della piastrella.

1961 saw the foundation of Rondine S.p.A., the core that grew into today’s leader Ceramica Rondine, in the production of porcelain stoneware tiles for floors, walls and skirtings.

1997 marked a watershed, with the entry of a new management team, bringing a fresh injection of energy into business, production and management.

September 2001 saw the inauguration of the porcelain stoneware manufacturing plant in Rubiera. Renewed throughout and featuring cuttingedge technology.

2010

Sadon, azienda leader nella produzione di piccoli formati in gres porcellanato, entra in Ceramica Rondine nel 2010, segnando un'ulteriore e preziosa svolta nella storia di Ceramica Rondine.

2013

È il giugno del 2013 quando il fondo private equity PROGRESSIO SGR cede le proprie azioni a Seramiksan, uno dei maggiori produttori di ceramica in Turchia. L'azienda ha una forte tradizione industriale ben radicata sul territorio di Turgutlu- Manisa, situata a soli 50 km da Izmir.

New shareholding structure in December 2011. Lauro Giacobazzi and family, and the private equity fund PROGRESSIO SGR, already the main shareholders, purchases 100% of the shares of Ceramica Rondine S.p.A.

2015

A gennaio 2015 si concretizzano importanti investimenti con l’ampliamento di un’unità produttiva, con una nuova linea per la movimentazione dei grandi formati, macchine per la scelta automatica e linee di confezionamento di ultima generazione.

In June 2013, the private equity fund PROGRESSIO SGR transferred its shares to Seramiksan, one of the largest ceramic manufacturers in Turkey. The company boasts a long industrial tradition, deeply rooted in the TurgutluManisa area, just 50 km from Izmir.

In January 2015, significant investments were made, with the extension of a production facility, new lines for handling large sizes, automatic sorting lines and latest-generation packing lines.

May 2005 saw the acquisition of SprayDry, a Sassuolo company that produces porcelain stoneware bodies, thus allowing Ceramica Rondine to make a major leap forward in terms of quality by covering the full tile production cycle in its own plants.

Sadon, a leading company in the production of porcelain stoneware small-size tiles, joined the Ceramica Rondine in 2010, marking a further important turning point in the history of Ceramica Rondine.

2020 2021

Il 2020 porta in dote l’acquisizione di Cedir – Ceramiche di Romagna, un' azienda storica del territorio Ravennate che va ad ampliare il polo Romagnolo del gruppo.

A marzo 2021 Italcer acquisisce Equipe Cerámicas, azienda ceramica spagnola leader a livello mondiale specializzata in piccoli formati con sede a Figueroles (Castellón).

2016-2017 2018

Con oltre 100 collezioni disponibili in una vastissima scelta di linee e formati Ceramica Rondine vanta anche la più ampia gamma di battiscopa in gres porcellanato. Nel 2016 sono stati previsti importanti investimenti che si sono concretizzati nei primi mesi del 2017. Questi investimenti hanno potenziato e ottimizzato i processi produttivi, permettendo così anche la produzione di grandi formati, dall’ 80x80 al 120x120 e la possibilità di una maggior competitivita’ sui mercati internazionali.

Nell’ottobre 2018 Italcer Group, società capogruppo dell’omonimo Gruppo ceramico controllato dal fondo italiano di private equity Mandarin Capital Partners II e Graziano Verdi, ha completato l’acquisizione del 100% di Ceramica Rondine Questa acquisizione segue quelle di La Fabbrica S.p.A., Elios Ceramica S.p.A. e Devon&Devon S.p.A., concluse nel 2017. Con Rondine, il Gruppo Italcer si va a posizionare, con 200 milioni di euro di fatturato aggregato ai primi posti tra gli operatori italiani del settore. L’ingresso di Rondine nel Gruppo Italcer porterà l’azienda a dotarsi di nuovi strumenti e sinergie in grado di ritagliarsi un ruolo sempre più da protagonista sui mercati domestici e internazionali.

Viene anche presentata l’innovativa tecnologia ADVANCE, una ceramica ecocompatibile in gres porcellanato, in primo ed unico fuoco, ad oltre 1230 gradi di cottura e con il 40% di materie prime riciclate sia per soluzioni residenziali che non residenziali.

Advance grazie alle sue proprietà antivirali, antibatteriche e fotocatalitiche è capace di proteggere maggiormente gli ambienti che ci circondano rendendoli più salubri e riducendo significativamente l’inquinamento.

On March, 2021 Italcer acquires Equipe Cerámicas, a Spanish global leading ceramic company specialized in small formats headquartered in Figueroles (Castellón).

A Ottobre 2022 Italcer completa il suo portafoglio prodotti, formati che vanno dal 10x10 cm al 160x320 cm attraverso l’acquisizione di Ceramica Fondovalle, leader mondiale delle grandi lastre con sedi a Marano sul Panaro e Ubersetto.

In October 2022, Italcer has completed its product portfolio, formats ranging from 10x10 cm to 160x320 cm through the acquisition of Ceramica Fondovalle, a world leader in large slabs located in Marano sul Panaro and Ubersetto.

With more than 100 collections available in a wide range of designs and sizes, Ceramica Rondine also boasts a wide range of porcelain stoneware skirting tiles. In 2016 extensive investments were planned and implemented in early 2017. These investments increased and optimised the production processes, thus also leading to the production of large sizes, from 80x80 to 120x120, and allowed the company to increase its competitive performance on international markets.

In October 2018 Italcer Group, parent company of the ceramic group of the same name controlled by the italian private equity fund Mandarin Capital Partners II and Graziano Verdi, completed the 100% takeover of Ceramica Rondine

This acquisition follows those of La Fabbrica Spa, Elios Ceramica Spa and Devon&Devon Spa, which were completed in 2017. With Rondine, the Italcer Group, with aggregate turnover of 200 million EUR, among first places in the league table of Italian ceramics manufacturers.

The entry of Rondine in the Italcer Group will allow the company to equip itself with new instruments and synergies that allow it to develop an increasingly leading role in domestic and international markets.

2020 brings the new acquisition of Cedir -Ceramiche di Romagna an historical company located in Ravenna, in order to expand the group hub in the Romagna area.

Moreover, we have also presented the innovative ADVANCE technology, an ecofriendly ceramic in porcelain stoneware, in first and single fire, at over 1230 degrees of cooking and with 40% of recycled raw materials for both residential and non-residential solutions.

Thanks to its antiviral, antibacterial and photocatalytic properties, Advance is able to protect the surrounding environments, making them healthier and reducing significantly the pollution.

Produrre ceramiche di qualità e rispettare l’ambiente è possibile. Ceramica Rondine ha scelto la strada dello sviluppo sostenibile, della produzione industriale ecocompatibile, nella convinzione che la tutela delle risorse, dell’aria, dell’acqua e del suolo siano condizioni indispensabili per il nostro futuro.

Per questo motivo ha deciso volontariamente di organizzare il controllo degli impatti ambientali legati al processo produttivo secondo le direttive UNI EN ISO 14001 e UNI CEI EN ISO 50001. Ceramica Rondine si è inoltre impegnata a comunicare all’esterno, attraverso la Dichiarazione Ambientale redatta in conformità a quanto stabilito dal regolamento europeo EMAS le azioni attuate in tal senso.

Ceramica Rondine has chosen the path of sustainable development and environmentally compatible industrial production, in the belief that the safeguarding of resources, air, water and the soil are essential conditions for our future.

For this reason it has voluntarily decided to organize the monitoring of environmental impacts related to its production process as specified in the directive UNI EN ISO 14001 and 50001 Ceramica Rondine is also committed to announcing the actions taken in this regard, through the Environmental Statement issued in accordance with the provisions set by the European EMAS Regulation.

ARIA Air

Il riciclo di materiale di scarto riduce del 49% le distanze da percorrere per trasportare le materie prime:

• 6.300.000 Km in meno ogni anno;

• 1.000 tonnellate di CO² non immesse in atmosfera (occorrerebbero 25.000 alberi su una superficie pari a 28 campi da calcio, per compensare l'immissione di CO² nell'ambiente).

• Nel 2019 inoltre è stato installato il più recente post-combustore che elimina completamente le sostanze organiche (SOV) fonte delle emissioni odorigene altrimenti emesse in atmosfera.

ACQUA Water

Importanti investimenti in impianti di depurazione e corsi di formazione indirizzati alle risorse umane, hanno ridotto i consumi idrici del 62% rispetto alla media del settore:

• 10.000 m³ di acqua in meno ogni anno (pari al consumo di 50 famiglie).

TERRA Earth

Per la produzione delle nostre piastrelle, i moderni impianti di macinazione generano argille composte per il 50% da scarti di lavorazione provenienti da aziende ceramiche:

• 32.000 m³ di argilla in meno ogni anno (pari a 3 volte il volume della Torre di Pisa).

More than 35 Gwh/year of electricity produced by CHP corresponding to about 9500 tons of Co2 avoided.

1700 Kw of photovoltaics installed for an annual production of about 2 Gwh of electricity.

About 530 t of Co2 avoided. About 350,000 cubic meters of gas avoided.

• We reduced by 49% the distances involved in transporting raw materials thanks to our intensive recucling of waste:

• 6.300.000 Km less per year;

• 1.000 tonnes of CO² not released into the atmosphere (it would take 25.000 trees over an area of 28 football fields, to compensate for the release of CO² into the enviorment).

• Furthermore, in 2019 the most recent post-combustor was installed. It contributes in eliminating organic substances (SOV), that are the source of odorous emissions and that would be otherwise emitted in the atmosphere.

Major investments in waste water treatment plants and training courses for employees, reduced water consumption by 62% compared to industry average:

• 10.000 m³ less water consumption per year (the same consumption of 50 families).

To produce our tiles, modern plants generate clays consisting of 50% from scraps from ceramic factories:

• 32.000 m³ of clay from quarries less each year (equal to 3 times the volume of Tower of Pisa).

Tali caratteristiche, che rendono questo gres di ultima generazione, sono incorporate nella prima fase di creazione della ceramica (cotta in primo fuoco ad oltre 1200°C) diventando così proprietà intrinseche del prodotto stesso, conferendo una protezione contro virus e batteri per tutto il ciclo di vita della piastrella, senza che venga alterato nel tempo o da agenti esterni. Non essendo uno strato superficiale della ceramica, ma incorporato nella stessa, questa proprietà rimarrà integra nel tempo.

Le proprietà antivirali e antibatteriche vengono esaltate da ogni condizione di luminosità, solare e artificiale, ma come dimostrano i Test di laboratori di primaria importanza, tali proprietà restano attive anche in assenza di luce.

The special composition of this stoneware means that viruses and bacteria are destroyed if they come into contact with the tile surface.

ADVANCE® can be used to tile floors and walls and it features antimicrobial and photocatalytic properties achieved after a single firing. These specifications, that qualify this stoneware as the latest generation of porcelain tile, are incorporated during the initial creation phase (a single firing at over 1200°C), thus becoming intrinsic properties of the product, providing protection against viruses and bacteria for the entire lifetime of the tile, without alterations caused by time or external agents. Because it doesn’t consist in a topper on the surface of the porcelain tile, but it is an integral part of it, this property will continue to last through time.

The antiviral and antibacterial properties are enhanced by any solar and artificial light conditions, but as shown by tests made by laboratories of primary importance, these properties remain active even in dark conditions.

La composition particulière de ce grès permet d’éliminer les virus et les bactéries dès que ceux-ci entrent en contact avec la surface en céramique.

ADVANCE® peut être utilisée en tant que céramique murale et de sol et présente des caractéristiques antimicrobiennes et photocatalytiques obtenues en première cuisson.

Ces caractéristiques, qui font de ce grès un matériau de dernière génération, sont intégrées lors de la première phase de création de la céramique (cuite en première cuisson à plus de 1200 degrés), devenant ainsi des propriétés intrinsèques au produit. Elles protègent contre les virus et les bactéries durant tout le cycle de vie du carreau, sans être altérées par le temps ou par des agents extérieurs. Étant donné que cette propriété est directement intégrée dans la céramique et qu’elle n’est pas uniquement présente en couche superficielle sur cette dernière, elle demeure intacte au fil du temps.

Les propriétés antivirales et antibactériennes sont renforcées en présence de luminosité, qu’elle soit solaire ou artificielle. Néanmoins, comme le prouvent les tests de laboratoires renommés, ces propriétés restent actives même en absence de lumière.

Die besondere Zusammensetzung dieses Feinsteinzeugs ermöglicht es, Viren und Bakterien abzutöten, die mit der Keramikoberfläche in Kontakt kommen.

ADVANCE® kann sowohl für Bodenbeläge als auch für Wandverkleidungen verwendet werden und besitzt im Einbrandverfahren erzielte, antimikrobielle und photokatalytische Eigenschaften.

Die Merkmale, die dieses Feinsteinzeug zu einem Produkt der neuesten Generation machen, werden während der ersten Herstellungsphase in die Keramik integriert (Einbrandverfahren bei über 1200°C). So werden sie zu natürlichen Produkteigenschaften, die die Fliesen während ihrer gesamten Lebensdauer gegen Viren und Bakterien schützen, ohne dass sie im Laufe der Zeit oder durch externe Faktoren beeinflusst werden. Da es sich nicht um eine Oberflächenschicht sondern um eine in die Keramik integrierte Eigenschaft handelt, bleibt diese auch langfristig unversehrt bestehen.

The end of the life cycle of the product comes with the demolition of the tiling. Debris from the tiling demolition are scraps of ceramic tiles, therefore inert materials (non-reactive, chemically and physically stable, resistant to even prolonged exposure to extreme thermal, chemical and hydrometric conditions).

La fin du cycle de vie du produit est représenté par la démolition du carrelage. CONSIGLI DI POSA E PULIZIA PER IL PRODOTTO CERAMICO DI CERAMICA RONDINE

Premessa

La norma UNI EN 14411 - “Piastrelle di ceramica - definizione, classificazione, caratteristiche e marcatura” - si propone di definire e fornire i termini, requisiti ed i criteri di contrassegno per le piastrelle di ceramica di Prima scelta. Italcer S.p.A. sulle proprie piastrelle esegue costantemente tutti test previsti dalla norma succitata, avvalendosi di laboratori accreditati. Vengono, inoltre, attuate costantemente procedure interne per il controllo della qualità del prodotto.

Posa

Il posatore sul cantiere prima della posa deve verificare il tono, il calibro, la scelta del materiale, mentre durante la posa deve prelevare sempre il materiale attingendo da più scatole per ottenere un mix cromatico ideale. Deve, altresì, verificare la congruità del prodotto anche per eventuali difetti già evidenti prima della posa, per quali sono escluse le garanzie qualora la segnalazione avvenisse dopo la posa.

Il posatore deve utilizzare i collanti idonei per le varie destinazioni d’uso e seguire le indicazioni del produttore riportate sulle confezioni. Deve verificare attentamente che il sottofondo sia stabile, asciutto e maturo, non gelato e non eccessivamente caldo. Deve effettuare la spalmatura del collante a regola d’arte affinché non si creino vuoti tra piastrella e sottofondo. Il posatore, in modo particolare per i prodotti con superfici levigate, satinate o lappate, deve stare attento a non segnare il materiale sulla superficie di utilizzo con matite (grafite) o pennarelli indelebili. Per realizzare i tagli e le sagomature richieste dalla Direzione dei Lavori, deve utilizzare appositi dischi diamantati e attrezzature specifiche, in particolar modo per il gres porcellanato. La dimensione della fuga tra le piastrelle può variare in funzione del formato che si utilizza, dell’angolazione della posa in ortogonale o in diagonale, e della destinazione d’uso. Si consiglia una fuga minima di 3 mm per prodotti non rettificati e una fuga minima di 2 mm per prodotti rettificati. La posa a correre dei formati rettangolari impone di sfalsare la piastrella di 6 cm e, comunque, mai più di 10 cm (Fig.1).

Negli ambienti di grande dimensione è necessario posizionare dei giunti di dilatazione con regolarità, mentre, per piccoli ambienti è sufficiente lasciare un leggero stacco fra piastrellato e muri perimetrali, coperto poi dal battiscopa.

Stuccatura e pulizia dopo posa

L’utilizzo di malte o riempitivi colorati con pigmenti deve essere fatto dopo aver eseguito una prova preliminare.

Per le superfici levigate, satinate o lappate del gres porcellanato, a causa della microporosità provocata dall’azione abrasiva delle mole durante il processo di lavorazione, non si possono usare malte o riempitivi colorati a contrasto (piastrelle bianche e stuccatura antracite, rossa...).

Con l’utilizzo di stucchi cementizi dopo la stuccatura delle piastrelle, a stucco ancora fresco, è necessario rimuovere immediatamente, in modo accurato con spugna e abbondante acqua lo stucco in eccesso. Tre/quattro giorni dopo la posa, ma non oltre 10 dopo la posa, eseguire la pulizia di fondo mediante l’utilizzo di acidi tamponati al fine di sciogliere ed asportare completamente tutti residui di cantiere.

Altrettanto importante è risciacquare bene fin quando l’acqua di lavaggio risulti essere limpida. Utile è l’utilizzo di aspiratori per liquidi, con lo scopo di rimuovere l’acqua sporca di lavaggio, evitando di spostarla da una parte all’altra. Anche a fine cantiere il posatore deve lavare i pavimenti con soluzioni di acqua e acido tamponato per evitare che la rimozione inadeguata o tardiva dei residui della stuccatura utilizzata per le fughe, lasci aloni difficili da rimuovere.

Seguire le precise indicazioni del produttore riportate sulle confezioni e attenersi rigorosamente alle modalità d’uso. Per l’impiego di tali prodotti, rivolgersi sempre a posatori esperti.

In caso di utilizzo di stucchi epossidici, il lavaggio deve essere eseguito il più rapidamente possibile con detergenti alcalini.

L’utilizzo di prodotti detergenti (tipo antiruggine) che spesso contengono acido fluoridrico danneggerebbe definitivamente la superficie di qualsiasi tipo di piastrella.

E’ bene sapere, inoltre, che oltre il 90% delle contestazioni in cantiere è dovuto a un cattivo, o addirittura inesistente, lavaggio dopo posa.

Con un corretto lavaggio dopo posa si eliminano residui di posa (malta, colla, vernice, sporco da cantiere di varia natura) e si rimuovono eventuali residui superficiali di sporco.

Manutenzione ordinaria

Consigliamo di effettuare la pulizia giornaliera con un detergente neutro. Attenersi rigorosamente alle percentuali di diluizione consigliate sul flacone.

INSTALLATION AND CLEANING TIPS FOR RONDINE CERAMIC TILES

Foreword

The UNI EN 14411 standard - “Ceramic tiles - definition, classification, characteristics and marking” - aims to define and provide the terms, requirements and marking criteria for first choice ceramic tiles. Italcer S.p.A. constantly performs all the tests required by the above-mentioned standard on their tiles, using accredited laboratories. In addition, internal procedures for product quality control are constantly implemented.

Installation

The installers on site before installation must check the shade, size and choice of material, while during installation they must always take material from several boxes to achieve an ideal colour mix. They must also check the adequacy of the product for any defects already evident before installation, for which guarantees are excluded if they are reported after installation. The installers must use adhesives suitable for the various intended uses and follow the manufacturer’s instructions on the packaging. They must carefully check that the substrate is stable, dry and cured, not frozen and not excessively hot. The adhesive must be applied perfectly so that no gaps are created between tile and substrate.

The installers, especially for products with polished, satin-finished or lapped surfaces, must pay attention not to mark the material on the surface of use with pencils (graphite) or indelible markers. In order to carry out the cutting and shaping required by the works management, they must use special diamond discs and special tools, especially for porcelain stoneware. The size of the joint between tiles may vary depending on the size being used, the angle of the installation at right angles or diagonally, and the intended use. We recommend a minimum joint of 3 mm for non-ground products and a minimum joint of 2 mm for ground products. In case of continuous installation of rectangular sizes, the tile must be staggered by 6 cm and never more than 10 cm (Fig. 1).

In large rooms it is necessary to place expansion joints regularly, while in small rooms it is sufficient to leave a slight clearance between tiled surface and perimeter walls, which is then covered by the skirting board.

Grouting and cleaning after installation

The use of pigment-coloured grouts or fillers must be done after a preliminary test.

For polished, satin-finished or lapped porcelain stoneware surfaces, due to the microporosity caused by the abrasive action of the grinding wheels during processing, contrasting coloured grouts or fillers (white tiles and anthracite, red grout, etc.) cannot be used.

When using cement grout, after grouting the tiles, while the grout is still fresh, any excess must be removed immediately and thoroughly with a sponge and plenty of water. Three to four days after installation, but no later than 10 days, carry out background cleaning using buffered acids in order to dissolve and completely remove all building site residues.

It is equally important to rinse well until the washing water is clear. It is useful using liquid aspirators to remove dirty washing water and avoid moving it from one part to another. Even at the completion of the construction site, the installers must wash the floors with a solution of water and buffered acid to prevent inadequate or delayed removal of residues of the grout used for the joints from leaving halos that are difficult to remove.

Follow the precise manufacturer’s instructions on the packaging and strictly comply with the instructions for use. Always consult experienced installers when using these products. When using epoxy grouts, washing should be carried out as quickly as possible with alkaline detergents.

The use of cleaning products (such as rust inhibitors) that often contain hydrofluoric acid would permanently damage the surface of any type of tile. It is also good to know that more than 90 per cent of site complaints are due to poor, or even non-existent, washing after installation. Correct washing after installation removes laying residues (mortar, adhesive, paint, building site dirt of various kinds) and removes any surface dirt.

Routine maintenance

CONSEILS DE POSE ET D’ENTRETIEN POUR LE PRODUIT CÉRAMIQUE DE CERAMICA RONDINE

Avant-propos

La norme UNI EN 14411 - « Carreaux céramiques - définitions, classification, caractéristiques et marquage » - se propose de définir et fournir les termes, prescriptions et critères de marquage pour les carreaux de céramique de premier choix. Italcer S.p.A. effectue constamment tous les tests prévus par la norme susmentionnée sur ses carreaux en faisant appel à des laboratoires agréés. De plus, les procédures internes de contrôle de la qualité du produit sont également appliquées en permanence.

Pose

Sur le chantier, avant la pose, le poseur doit vérifier la teinte, la dimension et le choix du matériau. Pendant la pose, il doit prélever les dalles de plusieurs boîtes afin d’obtenir un mélange chromatique idéal. Il doit également vérifier l’intégrité du produit, également en ce qui concerne d’éventuels défauts déjà évidents avant la pose et pour lesquels la garantie est exclue si le signalement est formulé après la pose.

Le poseur doit utiliser une colle appropriée aux différentes destinations d’usage et suivre les indications du producteur présentes sur les emballages. Il doit attentivement vérifier que le support est stable, sec et en bon état, non gelé et non excessivement chaud. Il doit étaler la colle dans les règles de l’art afin de ne pas créer de bulles d’air entre le carreau et le support. En particulier pour les produits avec des surfaces polies, satinées ou demi-polies, le poseur doit faire attention à ne pas marquer la surface visible du carreau avec des crayons (graphite) ou des feutres indélébiles. Pour les découpes et usinages demandés par le responsable des travaux, il doit utiliser des disques diamantés adaptés et des équipements spécifiques, en particulier pour le grès cérame.

La taille du joint entre les carreaux peut varier en fonction du format utilisé, du schéma de pose, orthogonal ou diagonal, et de la destination d’usage. Un joint minimum de 3 mm est conseillé pour les produits non rectifiés et 2 mm pour les produits rectifiés. La pose continue des formats rectangulaires impose de décaler le carreau de 6 cm et, en tout état de cause, jamais plus de 10 cm (fig. 1).

Dans les espaces de grandes dimensions, il est nécessaire de créer régulièrement des joints de dilatation alors que, pour les petites pièces, il suffit de laisser un petit espace entre la partie carrelée et les murs périmétriques, qui sera ensuite recouvert par la plinthe.

Jointoiement et nettoyage après la pose

Les mortiers ou produits de jointoiement colorés avec des pigments peuvent être utilisés uniquement après avoir effectué un essai préalable. Pour les surfaces polies, satinées ou semi-polies en grès cérame, en raison de la microporosité due à l’action abrasive des meules pendant l’usinage, il n’est pas possible d’utiliser des mortiers ou produits de jointoiement colorés en contraste (carreaux blancs et joints anthracites, rouges...).

En cas d’utilisation de mortiers à base de ciment après le jointoiement des carreaux, lorsque le mortier est encore frais, il est nécessaire d’éliminer immédiatement soigneusement le mortier en excès avec une éponge et beaucoup d’eau. Trois/quatre jours après la pose, mais pas plus de 10 jours après, nettoyer à fond avec des tampons imbibés d’acide afin d’éliminer complètement tous les résidus.

Il est également important de rincer correctement jusqu’à ce que l’eau de lavage reste propre. L’utilisation d’aspirateurs pour liquides est préconisée afin de retirer l’eau sale de lavage et éviter de la déplacer d’une partie à l’autre de la pièce. Une fois le chantier terminé, le poseur doit laver les sols avec une solution d’eau et d’acide afin d’éviter que le nettoyage incorrect ou insuffisant des résidus du mortier utilisé pour les joints ne laisse des halos difficiles à éliminer.

L’utilisation de produits détergents (type antirouille), qui contiennent souvent de l’acide fluorhydrique, endommagerait irrémédiablement la surface de n’importe quel type de carreau.

Par ailleurs, il faut savoir que plus de 90 % des réclamations sur chantier sont dues à un lavage incorrect, voire à l’absence de lavage, après la pose.

Un lavage correct après la pose permet d’éliminer les résidus de pose (mortier, colle, peinture, saletés du chantier de natures diverses) ainsi que les éventuels résidus de saleté en surface.

Entretien ordinaire

TIPPS ZUR VERLEGUNG UND REINIGUNG DER KERAMISCHEN

Vorbedingung

Die Norm UNI EN 14411 - „Keramische Fliesen und Platten - Definition, Klassifizierung, Eigenschaften und Kennzeichnung“ - zielt darauf ab, die Begriffe, Anforderungen und Kennzeichnungskriterien für Keramikfliesen der ersten Sortierung zu definieren und bereitzustellen. Italcer S.p.A. führt ständig alle von der oben genannten Norm geforderten Tests an den produzierten Fliesen durch und lässt diese von akkreditierten Labors durchführen. Darüber hinaus werden ständig interne Verfahren zur Kontrolle der Produktqualität durchgeführt.

Verlegung

Der Verleger muss vor der Verlegung auf der Baustelle den Farbton, das Kaliber und die Auswahl des Materials prüfen, während er während der Verlegung immer Material aus mehreren Kartons nehmen muss, um eine ideale Farbmischung zu erzielen. Er muss auch die Angemessenheit des Produkts auf bereits vor der Verlegung offensichtliche Mängel prüfen, für die die Garantie ausgeschlossen ist, wenn sie nach der Verlegung gemeldet werden.

Der Verleger muss für die verschiedenen Zwecke geeignete Klebstoffe verwenden und die Anweisungen des Herstellers auf der Verpackung befolgen. Es muss sorgfältig geprüft werden, ob der Untergrund stabil, trocken und reif, nicht gefroren und nicht übermäßig heiß ist. Der Klebstoff muss fachgerecht aufgetragen werden, damit keine Fugen zwischen Fliese und Untergrund entstehen.

Der Verleger muss insbesondere bei Produkten mit polierten, satinierten oder geläppten Oberflächen darauf achten, dass er das Material nicht mit Bleistiften (Graphit) oder unauslöschlichen Markern auf der zu verwendenden Oberfläche markiert. Um die von der Werksleitung geforderten Schneide- und Formgebungsarbeiten durchführen zu können, müssen spezielle Diamantscheiben und besondere Geräte verwendet werden; dies gilt, insbesondere für Feinsteinzeug.

Die Fugenbreite zwischen den Fliesen kann je nach verwendetem Format, dem Verlegewinkel (rechtwinklig oder diagonal) und dem Verwendungszweck variieren. Wir empfehlen eine Mindestfugenbreite von 3 mm für nicht rektifizierte Produkte und eine Mindestfugenbreite von 2 mm für rektifizierte Produkte. Bei der Verlegung von rechteckigen Formaten müssen die Fliesen um mindestens 6 cm und höchstens 10 cm versetzt werden (Abb. 1).

In großen Räumen ist es notwendig, regelmäßig Dehnungsfugen anzubringen, während es in kleinen Räumen ausreicht, einen kleinen Spalt zwischen Fliesen und Außenwänden zu lassen, der dann von der Sockelleiste abgedeckt wird.

Fugen und Reinigung nach der Verlegung

Die Verwendung von pigmentgefärbten Mörteln oder Spachtelmassen muss nach einer Vorprüfung erfolgen

Für polierte, satinierte oder geläppte Feinsteinzeugoberflächen können aufgrund der Mikroporosität, die durch die abrasive Wirkung der Schleifscheiben während des Arbeitsprozesses entsteht, keine kontrastierenden farbigen Fugenmörtel oder Füllstoffe (weiße Fliesen und anthrazitfarbener, roter Fugenmörtel usw.) verwendet werden.

Bei der Verwendung von Zementmörtel nach dem Verfugen der Fliesen, muss überschüssiger Mörtel vor dem Austrocknen gründlich mit einem Schwamm und viel Wasser entfernt werden.

Drei bis vier Tage nach der Verlegung, spätestens jedoch 10 Tage nach der Verlegung, ist eine Grundreinigung mit gepufferten Säuren durchzuführen, um alle Baustellenrückstände aufzulösen und vollständig zu entfernen.

Ebenso wichtig ist es, gut nachzuspülen, bis das Wasser klar ist. Nützlich ist der Einsatz von Flüssigkeitsaugern, um schmutziges Waschwasser zu entfernen und zu vermeiden, dass es von einem Teil zum anderen fließt. Sobald die Baustellenarbeiten beendet sind muss der Verleger die Böden mit einer Lösung aus Wasser und gepufferter Säure abwaschen, um zu verhindern, dass die Rückstände des für die Fugen verwendeten Fugenmörtels unzureichend oder zu spät entfernt werden und schwer zu entfernende Fleckenschimmer hinterlassen.

Immer genau die Anweisungen des Herstellers auf der Verpackung verfolgen und die Gebrauchsanweisung beachten. Für die Verwendung dieser Produkte wende man sich immer an erfahrene Verleger.

Bei der Verwendung von Epoxid-Spachtelmassen sollte die Reinigung so schnell wie möglich mit alkalischen Reinigungsmitteln erfolgen.

Die Verwendung von Reinigungsmitteln (z. B. Rostschutzmittel), die häufig Flusssäure enthalten, würde die Oberfläche jeder Art von Fliesen dauerhaft beschädigen. Außerdem weisen wir darauf hin, dass mehr als 90 Prozent der Reklamationen auf der Baustelle auf mangelhaftes oder gar nicht vorhandenes Waschen nach dem Verlegen zurückzuführen sind. Mit einer korrekten Reinigung nach dem Verlegen werden alle Rückstände (Mörtel, Kleber, Farbe, Baustellenschmutz verschiedener Art) und jeglicher Oberflächenschmutz entfernt.

Gewöhnliche Wartung
