¿Qué es Blow Art Project? Blow Art Project, opera fuera de los confines de la galería de arte tradicional, porque su plataforma es el territorio costarricense y muy pronto, otros espacios internacionales, puesto que su identidad es itinerante. Por eso está en todas partes y en ninguna parte al mismo tiempo, de manera que sus proyectos de arte se trasladan a puntos estratégicos sin ningún problema, para promover efectivamente las propuestas de los artistas que representa o los proyectos culturales sinérgicos con curadores, instituciones culturales y empresas públicas y privadas. Blow Art Project presenta a un artista en el espacio que mejor apoye el lenguaje visual de su propuesta y asegure la convocatoria del público que se interesará por su propuesta artística. A partir de mayo de 2016, Blow Art Project ha presentado diez exitosas muestras de artes visuales, porque su dinamismo responde al pensamiento de la generación de los millennials, la generación más educada y versátil en la historia, que no se basa en un territorio, sino en un ser y estar ubicuo, sin una base fija, lo que hace posible la multiculturalidad y diversidad de propuestas, amplias, abiertas y documentadas. Su naturaleza itinerante facilita la presentación ideal de los artistas y propuestas expositivas en general, a medida que identifica los espacios más interesantes y provocativos para presentar su trabajo. Hoy en día, el trabajo de numerosos artistas gira en torno a la idea de que la esencia de conceptos y objetos, se encuentra en todas partes, transitando libremente, carece de límites o fronteras a diferencia de los individuos, cuyo libre tránsito es impedido por las fronteras individuales, colectivas y nacionales. Las empresas transnacionales también son ubicuas, no sólo están en todas las ciudades del mundo, sino que además, lucen exactamente igual en todo el mundo. Actualmente, la información circula de una forma vertiginosa en los portales de Internet y Blow Art Project utiliza todas las posibilidades que este medio y todas las redes sociales brindan, para posicionar a los artistas o proyectos a su cargo, ofreciendo catálogo online, información completa en la red y mucho más. ¡Nos encanta apoyar al artista y al arte en general!

What is Blow Art Project? Blow Art Project, operates outside the confines of the traditional art gallery, because its platform is the Costa Rican territory and very soon, other international spaces, since its identity is itinerant. That is why it is everywhere and nowhere at the same time, that is the reason its art projects appear at strategic points without any problem, to effectively promote the proposals of the artists it represents or synergistic cultural projects with curators, cultural institutions and public and private companies. Blow Art Project presents its represented artists in the space that best supports the visual language of their proposal and ensures the call of the public that will be interested in their artistic proposal. From May 2016, Blow Art Project has presented ten successful exhibitions of visual arts, because its dynamism responds to the thought of the generation of millennials, the most educated and versatile generation in history, not based on a territory, but in the self and its ubiquity without a fixed base, which makes possible the multiculturalist and diversity of art proposals, broad, open and documented. Its itinerant nature facilitates the ideal presentation of artists and their art proposals in general, as it identifies the most interesting and provocative spaces to present their work. Today, the work of many artists revolves around the idea that the essence of concepts and objects, is everywhere, freely transiting, lacks borders or frontiers unlike individuals, whose free transit is prevented by the individual, collective and national boundaries. Transnational corporations are ubiquitous, not only in every city in the world, but also look exactly the same throughout the world. Currently, the information circulates in a vertiginous way in Internet portals and Blow Art Project uses all the possibilities that this medium and all the social networks provide, to position the artists or projects that we represent, offering an online catalog, complete information in the network and much more. La obra de Miguelángel Madrigal destaca por la disposición que realiza de materiales industriales poco convencionales para su proceso creativo. Su técnica mixta o compleja alberga la monotipia con tintas solventes adaptadas para el exterior a través de pantallas de seda, impresión serigráfica por medio de la fotomecánica así como la intervención directa con instrumentos que no son necesariamente pinceles o espátulas. Sus intervenciones encuentran asidero en plástico pvc, lo que convierte el producto final, aunado a su temática en una propuesta indiscutiblemente contemporánea. Motivado por una temática más espiritual que existencialista, sus obras evocan un culto y devoción a la gran Creación justificando en cada espacio de sus telas la benignidad y magnificencia del Dios de todos los seres. Al fin y al cabo todo es el resultado del reflejo de luz en su corazón de artista, proyectado al universo y convertido en arte.

The work of Miguelรกngel Madrigal stands out because of the disposition he makes of unconventional industrial materials for his creative process. This mixed and complex technique houses the monotype with solvent inks adapted for the exterior through silk screens, serigraphic printing by means of photo mechanics as well as direct intervention with instruments that are not necessarily brushes or spatulas. His interventions find support in pvc plastic, which makes the final product, together with its theme in an indisputably contemporary proposal. Motivated by a theme that is more spiritual than existentialist, his works evoke a cult and devotion to the great Creation, justifying in each space of his canvas the kindness and magnificence of the God of all beings. After all, everything is the result of the reflection of light in his heart as an artist, projected into the universe and turned into art. Todos estamos bordados en lienzo de la vida o entrelazados a través de las líneas de intención de nuestra vida de seda cruda. A veces somos tinta, a veces somos raíces o ramas, pero siempre enredadas. Estas son las raíces de la empatía que propongo dentro de mis obras de arte. Vamos a dibujar y coser nuestras raíces a la compasión y la empatía, todos somos iguales, aunque nuestras moléculas se forman de manera diferente, y la vida es una larga experiencia suave de la naturaleza, como en mi obra de arte, seda cruda, papel de arroz, Stratford papel y lienzo Son los titulares de este encuentro unánime. “We all are embroidered on life’s canvas or intertwined through the lines of intention of our raw silk life. Sometimes we are ink, sometimes we are roots or branches, but always entangled. These are the roots of empathy that I propose within my art pieces. Katrin Aason siempre ha sabido pintar desnudos de mujeres o rostros. Siempre le ha fascinado dibujar caras y mostrar sus emociones y dejar que la gente presente su propia historia detrás de cada pieza. A muy temprana edad decidió representar el papel de la mujer en la sociedad y cómo deben cumplir los diferentes ideales y estereotipos que existen y tocar temas muy delicados en sus piezas como la mutilación genital femenina, la esclavitud sexual, el ideal de un cuerpo perfecto , Etc.
En 2014 todavía quería pintar a las mujeres pero con una luz diferente, potenciándolas.

Katrin Aason has always been known to paint nudes of women or faces. She's always been fascinated on drawing faces and showing their emotions and letting the people come up with their own story behind every piece. At a very young age she decided to portray women's role in society and how they have to comply with the different ideals and stereotypes that exist and touching very delicate subjects in her pieces such as female genital mutilation, sexual slavery, the ideal of a perfect body, etc. In 2014 she still wanted to paint women but in a different light, empowering them

Como artista profesional, me encuentro asociado a la Unión de artistas visuales de Costa Rica y a la Asociación de artistas visuales de Costa Rica, he realizado exposiciones individuales y colectivas en importantes salas y espacios culturales. Mis piezas también forman parte de importantes colecciones tanto en Costa Rica como en Estados Unidos, España y Australia. Me considero un artista contemporáneo con capacidad de innovación y creatividad. Mi interés por el diseno nace de las novelas graficas que de niño analizaba con detenimiento y que despertaron en mi el deseo por aprender sobre dibujo e ilustración. Así desde la infancia he desarrollado las habilidades requeridas para construir una carrera como diseñador y artista independiente. Javier Marín

As a professional artist, I am associated with the Union of Visual Artists of Costa Rica and the Association of Visual Artists of Costa Rica, I have held individual and collective exhibitions in important rooms and cultural spaces. My art pieces are also part of important collections in both Costa Rica and the United States, Spain and Australia. I consider myself a contemporary artist with capacity for innovation and creativity. My interest in design was born by graphic novels that as a child I analyzed carefully and that aroused in me the desire to learn about drawing and illustration. So from childhood I have developed the skills required to build a career as a designer and independent artist.

“Sueña en Colores” es una asociación sin fines de lucro que desarrolla programas, charlas y talleres orientados a poblaciones con bajos recursos económicos que requieran de apoyo psicosocial. Estos grupos generalmente carecen de la capacidad económica y de la logística necesaria para poder ofrecer a los niños y adolescentes de la comunidad apoyo psicológico dentro de las escuelas y colegios, es aquí adonde Sueña en Colores juega un papel clave.

"Sueña en Colores" is a non-profit association that develops programs, talks and workshops aimed at people with low economic resources who require psychosocial support. These groups generally lack the economic capacity and the logistics necessary to be able to offer children and adolescents in the community psychological support within schools and colleges, it is here that “Sueña en Colores” plays a key role. Blow Art Gallery Project supports this important project, and we organized this collective exhibition in Haussmark, with the artists the gallery has exhibited and the children benefited, to raise funds that contribute to the grant of this magnificent social project. representación de la naturaleza y de los objetos sensibles o la expresión ilusionista de ella y ellos. Propone lo que identifica como las verdaderas metas del arte, según la “necesidad interior” de Kandinsky: revelar la esencia del mundo, reflejar la vida interior y hacer participar el espectador a una pura efusión lírica. Nicolas Liger tiene una fascinación por los Colores, los Tejidos, las Miradas y las Emociones. Todos estos componentes son propios de su Obra. Se caracteriza por mezclar diferentes elementos en sus creaciones, tales como: humano / animal con lo cual, busca representar el duelo del animal interno que vive dentro de cada uno de nosotros, así como elevar la conciencia de las luchas diarias. “ No intento cambiar su manera de pensar o de percibir la vida a nuestro alrededor, sino que los invito a dejar que su imaginación y su percepción les revele lo que quieren ver y sentir este 22 de Setiembre". Nicolas Liger has a fascination for Colors, Tissues, Looks and Emotions. All these components are typical of his work. His artwork is characterized by mixing different elements in its creations, such as: human / animal with which, it seeks to represent the mourning of the inner animal that lives within each of us, as well as raising awareness of daily struggles. "I do not try to change their way of thinking or perceiving life around us, but I invite them to let their imagination and their perception reveal to them what they want to see and feel this September 22nd." Habiendo estudiado Arte y Paisajismo en la Universidad Estatal de Luisiana (LSU); Y en la Academia Americana de París en Francia y en la Universidad Autónoma de Centroamérica UACA, en San José, Costa Rica, soy arquitecto y artista.
La naturaleza contiene aquella parte de la experiencia externa considerada interpersonal o compartida, y a través de mi pintura y dibujo, asumo la tarea de explorar esta región. El interior contiene esa parte de la experiencia interna que es impersonal pero también arquetípica, compartida por el inconsciente colectivo que es la ruta que el color y el movimiento tomaron en mi mundo. ¿Porqué “Tocando Corazones”? Las estadísticas de personas que requieren cirugía de corazón establecen que: Por cada millón de habitantes, 250 a 300 personas requieren cirugía de corazón abierto al año. En Costa Rica deberían operarse 1,500 personas al año, pero se realizan alrededor de 700. Mientras que el resto de Centroamérica en conjunto realizan solo 200. En Costa se realizan el 70% de las cirugías de corazón abierto de la región. Al menos 7, 000 personas al año se quedan sin la atención requerida. De esas 7000 personas que requieren operaciones: 5% tiene posibilidad de ir a EEUU a realizarse la cirugía con ingresos propios y menos del 15% lo pueden hacer con los seguros de empresa y préstamos para costear la operación. Pero menos del 80% son las personas que no tienen ninguna posibilidad de cubrir los costos de la operación. La Fundación busca recaudar fondos para ese 80% que necesita ayuda. Partiendo de esta necesidad de recaudar fondos, FUNICOR trae al país por primera vez; el mayor acontecimiento sin precedentes, que une la cultura, el arte y la salud pública, un espectáculo con consciencia social que contribuirá con el desarrollo de Costa Rica. Un evento de arte público, patrocinado por empresas privadas con el apoyo del gobierno y ONG´s donde se expondrán 35 corazones intervenidos por artistas, en espacios de alto tránsito. Este evento masivo iluminará el corazón de los habitantes de muchas vidas

Ver cumplido el sueño de reunir a los mejores artistas de Costa Rica por una noble causa nos llena de fe para seguir adelante para ayudar a miles de personas con la necesidad de mejorar sus vidas desde sus corazones. “Tocando Corazones” marcará un antes y un después para Costa Rica y Centroamérica, uniendo la salud, la cultura y el espíritu de esta gran región y ha elegido a Blow Art Project Gallery para coordinar y convocar a los artistas costarricenses. Why “Touching hearts� ? Statistics for people requiring heart surgery state that: For every million people, 250-300 people require open heart surgery per year. In Costa Rica 1,500 people should be operated per year, but around just 700 are performed. While the rest of Central America together, deliver only 200. In Costa Rica, 70% of open-heart surgeries in the region are performed. At least 7, 000 people a year are left without the required care. Of those 7,000 people who require surgery, 5% have the possibility of going to the US to undergo surgery with their own income and less than 15% can do it with business insurance and loans to pay for the operation. But less than 80% are people who have no chance of covering the costs of the operation. The Foundation seeks to raise funds for the 80% who need help. Starting from this need to raise funds, FUNICOR offers the largest unprecedented event that combines culture, art and public health, a socially conscious show that will contribute to the development of Costa Rica. A public art event sponsored by private companies with the support of the government and NGOs where 35 hearts will be exhibited by artists in high traffic spaces. This massive event will illuminate the heart of the inhabitants of our country, saving many lives.

Seeing fulfilled the dream of bringing together the best artists of Costa Rica for a noble cause fills us with faith to go forward to help thousands of people with the need to improve their lives from their hearts. At present, its associated spaces have been Aerena Gallery in California, Galerie Hior online, based in Costa Rica, Rocío Quiroa Gallery in Guatemala and with the support of National Gallery in San José Costa Rica. Haussmark Design and Genesis Gallery, are the priority exhibition spaces for Blow Art Project. It also carries out varied projects of interior architecture, as well as supports and develops art exhibitions for various charitable projects.
