This year Kendix designers worked on natural structures with a unique finish. The new Kendix designs draw inspiration from the rich botanical world where warmth and light stimulate the creation of the most wondrous plants, colours and structures.

The fabrics are designed to give your home a glimpse of nature.

2017 interior colour Impact of nature Botanical Nature, the endless source of inspiration; be amazed by the richness of the world of plants. Subtle grey greens, olive and moss greens to emerald and mint. Combine green with white, cloudy greys such as faint lime and linen shades and dark woods, natural stone and cork. Amazing coy colour accents from flora and fauna (pink, emerald, turquoise).

Impact of light Light and soft 2.0 Cloudy whites, light grey, new dull chalk pastels. Light woods are not only beautiful with cloudy tints of blue, but delicately lime washed pinks create a light setting without being sweet. Grey tones in material combinations.

From light to dark: every shade of grey! Light greys, elephant grey, deep grey-blue. A game between shade and light by combining tints of grey.

Worn, cloudy grey tints in stunning combinations of materials. Such as concrete opposed to soft rugs in a worn cotton look.

Impact of colour New softer contrast.

Dark versus light. Combine the new dark colours with natural softness and light! Wine red, volcanic purple grey and dark cobalt contrasting with light wood and light greyish pinks. Denim meets amber. Deep dark blue with warm amber, wood, light leather. Amber, ochre and brique accents appear even warmer next to the deep dark blue background colours Majestic cobalt blue, indigo, petrol and denim.

New earth

Rich greyish reds, brique, wine red, warm earthy colours, cork and lime.

Deep Water

Royal deep blue, indigo petrol, denim and turquoise.

Airy / Heavenly Light

White and almost white, from soft cloudy greys to off-white misty light blues and very subtle greyish pinks.

Mineral / Metal

Silver, brass, copper, varieties of stone in white grey and green marble, glass, sparkly diamond and intensely dark slate, a volcanic rock.

From the shadow

Lightly tainted tints of grey and greyish colours. From cloudy white, silver to dark volcanic purple grey. Combine them: varying greys in material combinations.

Warm Glow

Sunny happiness; soft yellow, amber, brass, gold, cadmium yellow, soft ochre and Sahara sand. Glow from the heat used together with very light shades of dark greyish blues and naturals.

Alga Structure inspired by structures found on the seabed: minerals, W p c D l rocks and microorganisms. The colour effect is created by the bico<1% <1% loured yarns. Alga = a green plant, source of minerals.

Mizu A transparent colour woven fabric. Ultra natural touch, the gleam of a water kissed surface in nature. Superior draping. Iridescent effect, stronger in dark W p v D l colours. Mizu is Japanese for water. The Japanese language has many words <1% <1% for types of water.

Nori An in-between structured fabric. Linen: yarn dyed and colour woven. The fabric is lightly creased through a shrink process. Please note: the structure slightly change after hanging. Advice: curtains tailored to break slightly at the 'W p v D l floor will create a beautiful casual effect.

Nori is one of the Japanese names <2% <2% for seaweed, a rich source of minerals.

Ritu Bicoloured structured effect, like raw silk. Designers were in search of irregularity and developed in yarn slub which gives the surface a natural irregular pattern. Matt linen combined with shining polyester yarn, resulting in a mineral wonder. Yuki means snow or ‘being blessed’ in Japanese. The Japanese have 'E p v D l different names for different types of snow.
