Opening their new “TEBOLON” factory in 1999, TAYA extends its role as an eminent specialist of antirust coating treatment initially for use on its own bicycle chains. Chains are very frequently used in salty, polluted and acid / alkaline situations and Tebolon coating has brought huge gains for cyclists especially in coastal areas and wherever severe weather conditions prevail and salt is used to keep roads free from ice and snow. TAYA’s expertise in this area has enabled the company to fulfil demand for this coating for other bicycle components too. The intensive and continuous R & D has resulted in GST, Greener Surface Treatment. This is a new more environmental friendly coating process free from environmentally damaging hexavalent chromium and GST rust proofs steel for up to 1000 hours of salt spray tests. (For normal nickel plating, max. 45 hours rust resistance under SST) Secondly as every serious cyclist knows, durability and strength is one of the main requirements of a chain. TAYA’s patented and registered Diamond Hard Tech (DHT) treatment, is an extraordinary technology process, which means TAYA is able to provide high-end advanced chain life!

Sigma’s Pin Connector is designed with a flat top, mushroom-shaped head to interlock positively with the side plate. Its unique configuration provides unprecedented riveting strength.

Step 2: Pass open Sigma link through end of the chain.
