Berlin-based, young artist Super Pop Boy has already asserted himself as an important figure on the pop art scene, distincting himself with eye-catching and colour-themed artworks.
The path to his current artistic place of creation was not a straight line, it was more a spiral-shaped experience, leading through the Academy JAK in Hamburg and the Humboldt University, where he studied theatre and cultural science and Modern German Literature. This gave fruition in his first stage play „Die Existenz” (2006).
The thrilling big scene encounter did not hold his artistic attention for long for he made the choice to follow the path marked by his individuality and freedom and it turned out to be exceptionally colourful.

The most popular series of Super Pop Boy is named “Andy” in which every painting has an assigned main colour naming it. The name alone (“Andy”) is an invitation for a imaginative game where the author plays with our vision as what we perceive is not always what our eyes see but also what our brain “guesses”. Therefore the titular Andy is of prime importance but, paradoxically, we cannot see him.
The scenes of Super Pop Boy mostly present everyday lives of individuals, his insight on the currently ongoing happenings, fashion and trends, however, his recent artworks capture the combination of high-tech and futurism, with reference to two of the most influential gurus in the field - Elon Musk and Steve Jobs.
