MARTINA NAGYOVA

Martina Nagyova, born and based in Slovakia, the heart of Europe. I´ve had an artistic soul since my childhood, however my serious deep dive into the art path began a few years back. Intuition is the tool which guides me through this unknown journey of art. My main source of inspiration comes from textures, colors, surfaces, and structures of everyday and every season’s nature, as well as a simple daily life. In contrast to other life structures, painting is where I feel free, where there are no boundaries nor limits. My creative process is driven by my deepest inner voice, the mysticism of life and the fact that nothing in this world is coincidental. What would be the world without art? How could my soul not choose to immerse itself in the beauty and depth the art bestows upon us? In these artworks, colors represent peace, safety, wisdom, trust, love, and purity. My pieces state and express that everything in our lives is connected and bound to the fluidity of time, between the past, through the present to the future. Events, moments, and situations we experience are interconnected, although we may not understand them when happening.

The truth is that duality is what shakes our own existence. It tests and makes us think about the reason for our own existence. Duality offers us wings and brings us down to the ground at the same time. We are sometimes prisoners of our own mind and ego. To accept our own duality and to make peace with ourselves is the way to go.
