Forget Last Minute, Make Motherʼs Day Last All Year Long To say I was thrilled when GiltHome, one of my favorite interior decor resources, asked me to host their Motherʼs Day episode of LIVE@GiltHome, is an understatement! Iʼd never done a facebook chat before and pampering moms is something Iʼm passionate about. Admittedly, at first I thought, gosh Motherʼs Day is this Sunday and that most people had already ordered their flowers, booked their reservations, etc. But, then I thought, why do we need a special day to treat our moms? One treat I make for my mom is sugar scrub. Super easy too. Just take 1 cup of sugar and add olive oil till it reaches the consistency of thick honey. Then add in essential oils to her preference. If Your Mom Lives Far Away SpaMom Tip: If youʼre sending liquid, be sure to tape the top down. When buying Mom spa lotions & potions, stick to products for all skin types and bath & body items. Donʼt buy targed facial products - that is something so personal and individual to her needs, and that youʼre bound to end up in the Return line! Think beyond Momʼs Day - hire a maid for her or contact a home cooking catering firm to deliver her meals for a week.
