Updated Mask Policy at CSMA Masks Required Onsite as of May 2, 2022 Dear Students and Families, Since the start of the pandemic, we have closely monitored Santa Clara County COVID cases and adapted our safety guidelines in accordance with County, State and Federal guidelines. With the recent significant increase in local COVID cases, the Mountain View Whisman School District (MVWSD) recently announced mandatory indoor masking effective April 27. MVWSD is our “home district” in Mountain View, and many of our CSMA students are MVWSD students. We believe it is important at this time to take the same step as a cautionary measure. Effective May 2, 2022, all students, staff and visitors age 2 and above must wear a mask inside Finn Center unless they are exempted per CDC guidelines. Thank you for your cooperation!

SubscribeImagine Past OurIssues Future, a new musical work by jazz great Taylor Eigsti premiered on March Translate 26 at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts to a wildly enthusiastic crowd of nearly 500 attendees. The work was commissioned by CSMA and crowd-sourced from ideas and art submitted by Bay Area youth. Onstage, Taylor was joined by a remarkable set of musicians, including GRAMMY Awardwinning vocalist Lisa Fischer and a band featuring Eric Harland and Ben Wendel. Several of the students who had submitted artistic contributions that inspired Eigsti's songwriting cheered from the audience. Only days later, Taylor won a GRAMMY for his album Tree Falls! Congratulations to all who were involved with creating Imagine Our Future, a multi-year project for both CSMA and Taylor Eigsti, made possible by a Hewlett 50 Arts Commission.
