Our Infant site is a community school with a Nursery offering excellent provision for three year olds. The Infant School received a ‘good’ grading in its last Ofsted inspection. Inspectors reported that children enjoy school and have a very positive attitude to learning and that they are nurtured and supported extremely well.
Both sites celebrate the diversity of our community and share the values of Aspiration, Respect and Resilience.We aim to work in partnership with our families and support every child to aspire to be their best, to be treated with and learn the true value of respect and to be resilient in all aspects of everyday life.

Within a five mile radius of Diss are the following primary schools: Roydon, Bressingham, Winfarthing, Burston, Dickleburgh, Hoxne, Scole, Wortham and Palgrave, which take pupils through from four to 11 years old

Conkers Nursery School Gissing Children's Centre
A community pre school. Monday to Friday during term time from 8am to 4.30pm. We take children from two years to school age and accept children who come with two year funding and three and four year funding. In recent years, we have received four consecutive gradings of 'outstanding' from Ofsted for the quality of our care and education. Please visit us in our idyllic, rural setting. We also run Holiday Playschemes for primary school age children on selected days during school holidays.
