Our galleries first crossed paths two decades ago, and we soon realised we share a deep-rooted passion for sculpture. On this common ground, a close friendship formed and evolved to the rhythm of our respective gallery exhibitions, art fairs and trips to Italy. After many shared projects, ranging from Antiquity to the Renaissance, we have turned our attention to the Baroque, with an exhibition to coincide with London Art Week. The display will showcase ancient Greek and Roman works of art, alongside early modern sculpture from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, all revolving around the Baroque aesthetic. The works selected are characterised by a heightened sense of movement, grandeur and theatricality, paired with opulent detail and narrative flair.
