“My name is Dagmar Wankowski, and I live in Germany. Painting is my passion, and my source of inspiration is my immediate surroundings. I feel a strong connection to nature and its perfect beauty. But also the insights into the universe from recent times.

A never-ending source of beautiful motifs, my paintings are both concrete and abstract. Largeformat floral paintings in oil on canvas are created with intense and powerful colors. The choice of motif is as close as possible.

I want to invite the viewer on a journey into my world, and I want to share and celebrate our world's uniqueness with you.

So many works of art and techniques inspire me—for example, the lights in William Turner's paintings, also, Claude Monet's water lilies left a very lasting impression on me. The nice thing about painting is that it's a constant learning process, and there

I started using new materials such as acrylic and watercolors, creating abstract works on canvas, wood, or cardboard. I am always looking forward to experiences and to discovering other artists and their work. There is no end to painting. I will keep learning and finding new ways to realize my creative aspirations.
