Toolkit for children

Theme City and Childhood Activities Design implementation strategies, games and materials, storytelling presentation. Tools Design Thinking process, photoshop, ethnography, prototypes With Caregivers, teachers, designers, and children To Children from 3 to 6 years old Date 2016

Early childhood is the most important stage for the development of human beings’ emotional and social skills. In contrast, Brazilian cities lack the structure for children to play, walk, and occupy urban areas. Despite the lack of infrastructure, the city can still be a space for children to play and interact with pedestrians and everyday workers on the streets. Thinking of the city as a space to play and strengthen child development, the NGO APE created the toolkit “Little Street Explorers” to help schools walk the streets of São Paulo with children from 3 to 6 years old.
