Heather Smeaton-Webb was awarded the Doctorate of Business Administration in June 2008. Her research area was ‘Exploring strategic organisational challenges of mergers and acquisitions’ and as a result of her doctorate she has been funded by EDF to go to Harvard. She used her knowledge from her doctorate to manage a co-operative venture which won a national prize for the successful outcome.
Young Healthcare
Matt Rutter has been named Young Healthcare Scientist 2008 for his dedication to the Health Service. Matt has been working as a Clinical Respiratory Physiologist and is studying for a BSc in Clinical Physiology with the Faculty of Health & Social Care.

International accolade An Anglia Ruskin graduate with an MA in Children’s Illustration has had her first book recognised by an influential publication. Kazuno Kohara’s ‘The Haunted House’ was voted as one of ten Best Illustrated Children’s Books 2008 by The New York Times.
