Meaning of Change Change is the Process, Tools and Techniques to manage the people side of change process, to achieve the required outcomes and to realize the change effectively within the individual change agent, the inner team, and the wider system which includes Organization


Need For Change


• Change is the result from an organizational learning process that centers around questions??????? • In order to sustain and grow as an organization and as individuals within- what are procedures what is the know-how organization need to maintain and where is the change needed? • How can organization and individual manage a change?


• Mankind noticed the ever presence of change centuries ago • From the changes, an individual initiate to those which don’t have anything to do • Change can also leave a individual feeling lost, out of control and upright • Only +ve manner, will make it work for YOURSELF

• The self, the team or the organization & the wider system that surrounds the team /unit, depending how are the borders are fixed • Change by its very nature, is hard to predict. sometimes change is thrust upon us, unforeseen and Unwanted • If change is forced on people, normally problems arise • AskAsk what is to be achieved with this change? - why, and how will it be know that the change has been achieved? - who is affected by this change and how will they react to it?

• Management of change is complex • Before implementing, certain no of steps need to be followed • Change often generates –ve emotional reactions • However,, change can be healthy and +ve facilities like organization to meet reality in the form of a changed environment or new opportunity.


Human Factor of Change The greatest single factor in any change is ‘Human’. This encompasses among others, personal value systems, informal relations, personal ambitions and preferred career routes.

Any change inevitably has human consequences which, if ignored can lead to disaster. Lack of recognition of the human side of change can waste money, time and people.  Change management entails thoughtful planning and sensitive implementation, and above all, consultation with, and involvement of, the people affected by the changes. 


ď śCheck that people affected by the change agree with, or at least understand, the need for change, and have a chance to decide how the change will be managed, and to be involved in the planning and implementation of the change. ď ś Use face-to-face communications to handle sensitive aspects of organizational change management.
