Y-Grab (with Y – shape section) is a three jaws excavation grab that can be closed and opened simultaneously, being used to excavate a hole for the reinforced concrete pile with the same form (called Y-pile). To compare with a bore pile has the same radius, Y-pile's surround area is larger, and its volume decreases remarkably from 30% to 45%, more effective because of: Ÿ Ÿ Ÿ Ÿ
Decreasing the concrete quantity. Increasing friction between the pile outer and soil. Reducing the transportation of disposal soil and ready-mix concrete to the site. Reducing construction time of piles for projects.
