I have been working at ATS (Automated Template Sytems) for 2 years as Head of UX & Strategy. Designing UX for the company software. ATS is a document compliance system for the financial sector, which helps mid to large corporate companies stay on brand and to be legally compliant.

HIGH FIDELITY WIREFRAMING LARGE SCALE SOFTWARE In charge of designing the UX for the ATS software, in close collaboration with the company programmers and the ATS user needs and wishes. The job required extensive knowledge into how programmers work and think, methods and tools to extract what clients actually need, and also project managing skills to stay on track in the iterative process. Some of the UX methods I used to obtain neccesary knowledge from the end users was: facilitating 1 day workshops, empathy mapping, user journeys, vision roadmapping, user groups, user interviews, and user shadowing.

Designing the ATS software was a complex UX challenge, with more than 100+ wireframes and UI screens created in collaboration with the software developers and end-users. The software is currently being tested at 2 of Denmarks larger banks.
ESTIMATING TIME Designing large scale software requires many iterations and it is easy to lose track of time and direction, that is why I use three-point estimation in my projects. I also helped some of the programmers create some of their time estimates using this technique. We were part of a larger Scrum managing framework with people in Denmark, Thailand, and Brazil. Everything was measured and estimated to keep investors informed.
CORPORATE IDENTITY, BRAND & LOGO DESIGN I designed the corporate identity & logo for ATS. The logo had to tell a story of honesty, trust, professionalism, global company and conservatism.
Each year in May NPAA (Net Party Aarhus) throws a Lan Party for 200+ contestants. The 48 hours of computer gaming is packed with fun, awesome winnings, and loads of contests in various game genres. Designing the entire NPAA universe: the NPAA website, clothing, banners, fliers, posters, social marketing campaigns down to the power points at the NPAA events.

Working as a UI/UX designer at Duckwise ApS (now part of the Trifork A/S family) I was involved in various projects, primarily focusing on apps for iOS. I delivered user interface and user experience solutions for various companies, to name a few:

Re-designing UI/UX for Jyllands Postens “Finans-app” for iPad and iPhone in collaboration with Jyllands Posten.

Designing the UI/UX for Lego Mindstorms iPad app together with the Lego Mindstorms team.
•
Working together with the international Design company Huge Inc, to develop the new Credit Suisse Mobile and Tablet Bank reaching millions of clients.
The Credit Suisse project was literally Huge, more than 600 wireframes and design screens were made.
Buckstr is an app which helps children learn about money together with their parents. It is soon available for iPad + iPhone. Buckstr builds on a growing problem among young adults (below 30). A growing tendency in lack of understanding how to have a healthy economy where young adults end up being swamped in debt (25% of the people registered in RKI are under 30 years old and this number has grown 40% in just 7 years). Today 231.582 people are registered in RKI in Denmark - they are indebted for more than 16,9 billion kr. Buckstr is to change this growing problem by reaching out to kids 5-10 years old, the age where your economic behaviour is founded.
Buckstr builds on an extensive research and testing fase (field studies, user interviews, user shadowing, cultural probes, research into child psychology and sociology). Different findings morphed into a design scope: a target audience (5-10 years old) because this is where child psycologists state that the foundation of a healthy economic behaviour is founded, an interest in money is emerging and furthermore this age interval showed the most enthusiasm for the concept in genereal. UI and UX design for an American client: “Kickstream� and their new web service. Kickstream is a extreme sports live streaming service which lets you login from anywhere in the world and follow your extreme sports idols. The Sportsmen has a GOPRO camera fastened on their helmets which streams live video footage to the end users. The followers pays a monthly fee to support the various sportsmen and to gain access to the service, 50% of the monthly fee goes directly to the sportsman. Kickstream lets ordinary people tap into an unexplored world of extreme sports, and simultaneously back their idols. Now a handicapped person can climb mount everest, surf the biggest waves in Hawaii or downhill a beautiful mountain in Peru. Kickstream was created for an American client.
BODUM DESIGN AWARD 2012 I won the Bodum design award 2012, with the solar oven to the right, called ZUN. The ovn also won the audience prize and is design patented through Bodum. Bodum Design Award is Scandinavias largest design competition with a total prize pool of 500,000 DKK. The aftermath: Bodum decided not to produce the ovn, so the patent and all owners rights went back to me. I am still hoping that one day I will find the right

ORBILOC DOG LIGHT Orbiloc ApS needed a new design for their dog light and product packaging. Orblioc sells the best and most expensive dog lights on the danish market (200dkka piece) so the new design had to stand out to match the market position. I designed a pedistal display for the new dog light, and inside the cylinder all the exstra bands and click-ons are stored.
My second company(2010) is www.rumble.dk with an iphone and android app. A service which lets the user see which events is happening around them in real time. The company never grew to more than a couple of thousands unique monthly visitors, before we were surpassed by heavily funded international competitors. I was primarily the concept and UX/UI designer, yet also salesman, business strategist and leading a team of 9 employees. It was a lot of fun!
