keen to demonstrate to racing followers around the world that the Royal Meeting is about looking your best – and that doesn’t necessarily mean you have to buy something brand new. Garments sourced from charity shops, nearly new boutiques, vintage emporiums and resale websites can be found throughout the Style Guide alongside British and sustainable fashion labels. Innovative millinery remains the crowning accessory for the Royal Meeting and for gentlemen, classic tailoring, light summer suits and ties in pastel shades come to the forefront of formal wear.
To advise and inspire guests with what to wear to the Royal Meeting this June, we have put together a celebration of British brands, paying homage to the incredible talent and style found across the nation, as well as established international names. “Elegance is an Attitude” Elegance is a fascinating concept. Both instinctive and elusive, it maintains a timeless appeal, without ever remaining fixed in its expression. Just like Longines watches, where the smallest details enhance the harmony of the whole piece, elegance can be seen in pure lines, precise proportions and delicate movements. Elegance is unique because it allows us to break free from traditional aesthetic and gender codes, while revealing the multiple facets of our personality. It is an opportunity to continually reinvent ourselves, based on our desires and moods, whether serious or playful, but always in keeping with our own tastes and values. Wearing a Longines timepiece means embracing a world of possibilities and proudly displaying our ever-changing identity. And so, with this simple gesture, we are able to express our unique vision of elegance day after day.
