Ascot Racecourse is proud to provide an accessible environment for all guests
Sunflower Lanyard/Pin
For those guests whose needs are not immediately obvious, we are proud to offer a sunflower lanyard to show that you or someone you care for has a ‘hidden disability’. These lanyards are available from Ticket Office East and all entrances.
Ascot staff members wearing sunflower pin badges have received additional training and are empowered to help in whatever way they can. When you approach they will ask “How may I help you?” This is your opportunity to ask for any additional support that you may need. If you don’t need any help with this particular aspect of your day then proceed as usual. These staff are available across the Racecourse.
The lanyards are yours to keep and wear on future meetings at the Racecourse.
Car parking
Blue Badge holders are given forward parking in the car parks, free of charge. These parking areas provide closer proximity to the Racecourse entrances and are subject to capacity on the day. Please request your forward parking space no less than 7 working days prior to the event, by email to access.officer@ascot.com attaching a copy of both sides of your Blue Badge, along with the enclosure you will be in.
Entry to the Racecourse
Guests requiring accessible access can be accommodated at all Racecourse entrances. Once inside, ramps and/or lifts are available to access different areas.
Accessibility tours
QUEEN ANNE ENCLOSURE
Ascot Racecourse offers accessibility tours on each day of Royal Ascot, prior to gates opening. These are facilitated by our Accessibility Stewards. Please email access.officer@ascot.com to book.
First Aid Points
