OUR HOT EXPERT MAKE-UP TIPS Natural plumped: You surprisingly don’t need any lipstick to get a more rounded, juicy and natural plumped look. In fact, what you want to do is take the colour out of your lips to create a nude shade which can be done in two ways. You can often find great lip plump products that are light concealer shades or just a clear gloss that brings tingles to your lips, apparently causing them to become fuller. If you’re a DIY girl, all you have to do is apply a concealer over your lips and then line them with a pencil that is just the tiniest shade darker than your concealer. Then take a fresh lip brush and blend the edge of the lip liner into the rest of the lip. This will create a bit of natural colour so your lips don’t look lifeless, but not enough for people to notice a hard colour has been added. Then add two thin layers of your favourite gloss to create a bit of a seductive shine! The classic red: From Marylin Monroe to Christina Aguilera, the timeless lip-popping bright red shade will not be going away anytime soon. Red lips usually being seen on paler skin makes darker girls shy away from trying out this style. However darker and olive skin can still go for this style if they opt for a more flattering shade of fire reds and burgundies. Red lipstick can bleed into the surrounding skin easier, so fill in the lips by lining them first to define a strong shape. A little tip is to use a lipstick brush to fill in the lips and then apply the lipstick after. This helps to create a base colour so that when the lipstick fades the colour will still be as eye catching as ever. Since you’re already going for a dramatic lip, don’t look too overdone with heavy eye and face make up. Keep it nice and light for the full effect!

Not so hot gossip
Asians love to gossip – and it can be anything. From relationships and about everyday things like work to what your mum’s, sister’s, husband’s,uncle’s, second cousin’s, wife did last Sunday afternoon. I hate gossips and always used to run out of the room when my mum and the auntie-jees started sweetening their tea with a spoonful of gossip about som tant relative they hadn’t seen sinc e dise The thing about gossip is that it’s 1968. mostly inaccurate because those cooking up the stories are adding their own blen d of mirchi to spice things up. Yes, there is no smoke without fire, but in the case of neighbourhood goss ip, it’s more likely the evening rotis are burning than someone stoking the fires of an affair. As Albert Einstein once said illicit : equals success, then the formula “If A is equals X plus Y and Z, with X bein A g work, Y play, and Z keeping your mouth shut.” If only they would!

Matte finish: If you want to steer clear of the shiny fantastic plastic look, stick to a nice matte finish by following these simple steps. First, lay down a thin layer of gloss carefully so that it doesn’t go over the lines of your lips, but instead defines them nicely. Then on top, apply the colour of your blusher with a small lipstick brush, which should fix onto the gloss quite nicely. By using your blush colour, your lips will match the colour scheme you’re using time to learn how much you need to apply without going overboard. Bonus: Lighter lip gloss gives off just enough shine to create a sexy yet subtle look.

WHILST on holiday, what is the best way to stop hair from frizzing in the humidity? Your hair can behave very differently on holiday especially in hot, humid climates. It is important to change your hair care routine by using products that are designed for dealing with hair in warmer climates. It is vital that you shield your hair from direct sunlight as it can cause damage and frizz. You can prevent this damage by wearing a sunhat or smoothing on some hair oil; this will stop hair from drying out. A light serum can be used to combat frizz or alternatively you can invest in a salon permanent straightening treatment a month before your holiday to keep frizz at bay. Once you return from holiday, your hair will still require moisture and treatment, therefore it is vital that you continue your holiday hair regime for a few more weeks.
