Vishwas Pai Class of 2001

I had the best years of my life, which I cherish even now.

The Program has a strong international focus

Pursuing MBA at MIM is always going to be an advantage in the long run due to the global recognition of Manipal University. The two years spent at MIM contributed towards my professional and career growth, imbibing requisite skills to wade through the wide and deep ocean of corporates across the Globe. Encouragement to participate in events and extra-curricular activities emphasizes the basic management principles with much team work and networking. Overall, the two years of management education at MIM provide us with a complete package of holistic education. They pass off within a wink of an eye with all the support of teaching and nonteaching staff. I had the best years of my life, which I cherish even now.

MIM offers students with an opportunity to develop their leadership and management skills through an exceptionally interactive and team- based approach to learning. The program also has a strong international focus which allows students to learn business principles that are relevant for a global exposure. MIM offers ample opportunities to equip its students with solid leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills, with a global perspective.

Cimi Chacko Class of 2006

My Professors have always been encouraging I graduated from MIM in 2008 with an MBA in Human Resources Management. Not only has my degree helped me secure a challenging job in one of the prestigious healthcare groups in UAE but also the values and lessons learned during my two years in MIM have steered me in my career and professional growth. I enjoyed especially the case studies that were discussed during our courses. My Professors have always been encouraging, both during and even after my tenure at Manipal. We were always motivated to think outside the box which, in turn, stimulated practical thinking. Being a part of various cultural events and workshops and also committees like the Alumni committee and literary club demonstrates that MIM offers a healthy mix of both work and play. Thank you, MIM.

I can proudly call myself as a professional ready to face the corporate world

Every class is fun, educational and interactive

Quaint little town will always remain home

It was my dream always to study at this prestigious university. This dream came to light when I got my admission at School of Management.

Studying MBA at SOM was absolutely an unforgettable period of my life. I can positively say that SOM has made me a better person. It has helped me to develop a positive attitude towards my studies and discover more about myself.

I have truly enjoyed and learnt from the "Manipal Experience".This quaint little town will always remain home in more than one way. Warm people, tasty food that is inexpensive and available almost 24 hours, the fact that within a radius of 7 kms there are lots of places to visit are a few things that make this place memorable.

SOM has greatly helped in grooming our skill development along with the time management techniques, it helped in the overall development in term of communication, confidence and cocurricular activities. Today, we can confidently speak in front of an audience and as well as I can proudly call myself as a professional ready to face the corporate world. SOM has given me a wonderful experience and I can proudly say that I have found a new family here. I had a wonderful experience at this Institute, worth all the time spent and learning new things.

Teachers are very caring, supportive and interested in students' well-being. They make sure every class is fun, educational and interactive. The various activities helped me a lot with my communication skills, as well as overcoming my shyness. While studying at SOM, I grew as an individual, learning to interact and talk to people from different backgrounds. My doubts and queries were always welcomed by the teachers and sometimes led to healthy discussion which motivated me to develop curiosity and in-depth thinking. SOM stands out with its distinguished uniqueness. It is a perfect platform to polish one's skills and caliber and also nurture their talents.

In terms of learning experience, we have some great teachers guide us through various subjects. I don't call them great only based on their knowledge, but based on their attitude towards students. Few of them drive and motivate you to be better and dream bigger. Their teachings aren't restricted to textbooks; some of them focus on enhancing skills that matter in the real world. We are asked to challenge why things happen a certain way, collect, compose and articulate our thoughts clearly and look at solving issues in a more holistic manner.
