Theater students in Mrs. Coyne’s class recycle material to create their own costumes! Monday during 5th period you can find Belle, SpongeBob, and Ursula walking the runway!

Coach Cavitt and Ms. Ennis lead their students through a 1800’s Reform sorting activity. What a great way to get kids to collaborate and manipulate events.
Showcase classrooms Students in Mr. Q’s GTT class use toothpicks to engineer a bridge to hold the most weight possible. The “accountant” is responsible for purchasing materials, staying under budget and tracking orders while working with the materials manager and architect.

Also in GTT, Mrs. Fant’s students build water rockets to test. Some went as high as the school roof, WOW!

7th grade science students dissect chicken wings in order to compare bone, muscle and tendon structure to that of humans.

All 8th grade science students collaborate to create and build rollercoasters. A marbles speed is then calculated at each section of the ride!

Way to go Mrs. Helm! In order to get AVID students input on their next community service project, she used Light Voting! Each voter is given three opportunities to vote and it is their choice on how to distribute their votes! Looks like there will be some happy dogs in nearby animal shelters soon!
