7th grade science students learn about bones in their hands-on lab. They are using real pig bones to discover the layers and structure of bones.

Some very enthusiastic students in Ms. Walraven’s Social Studies class, learn about the process of writing laws. Each student’s colored sticky notes signifies a different role in the process.

Mrs. Stewart’s 8th grade ELA students enjoy collaborating with each other as well as with Mrs. Stewart herself through shared Google Documents and TodaysMeet‌a fun website with a private class chat room.

How many years have you been teaching? One year…this is it! 2. What is you favorite thing about teaching at TSMS? Coming in everyday and not knowing what to expect. 3. Who is your favorite superhero? I don’t even know very many superheroes…I guess Iron Man because he is smart and can fly. 4. What is something about you that not many people know? I like Star Wars…no I did not go see the new one at midnight. 5. Who is your favorite sports mascot? The Texas A&M Aggies 6. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up? An astronaut for NASA 7. If you had to eat one food everyday the rest of your life, what would it be? Tacos!
