The Titan Tell-All is a bi-weekly newsletter highlighting the awesome instruction and events going on around TSMS. There are SO many great things going on, it is hard to catch them all! If you, or someone you know, has an outstanding idea that should be showcased, please let Ashley Roberts know! UPDATE: Thank you for all of the emails, IMs, texts, and phone calls, telling me to get my camera to your neighbor’s room asap! Keep them coming!!!

United Freestyle Stunt Team put on an impressive show to promote a drug-free lifestyle!

Coach Cooperman is using the Doceri app to turn his Ipad into an active slate for his Promethean board. This allows him the freedom to move around the room while adding notes to the screen.

Mrs. Coyne’s students participate in “Silent Day” to discover the strategies of mimes.

For National Day of Writing, Mrs. Stewart’s students script their most memorable book quotes using sidewalk chalk.


Showcase classrooms Hundreds of 8th grade science students strain to get a picture of the chemical reaction experiments in the lab; a fried pickle and elephant toothpaste to name a couple.

Dia de los muertos

Art students and Mrs. Crow’s Spanish students, honor Spanish culture by celebrating Dia De Los Muertos and making memory alters.


Showcase classrooms continuous improvement Mrs. McDaniel gathers feedback from her students using a status check to see how prepared for the test they felt.

Students reveal a deeper meaning of “values” by completing a concept of definition map in Mrs. Stewart’s class.
