The Concept The idea behind our store is to give the well-to-do ladies of Atlanta who frequent shopping areas such as Phipps Plaza and Buckhead Atlanta a place to get away from their families and problems in exchange for a relaxing day. We want to offer a place for ladies to hang out with their girlfriends, sip champagne, and get pampered by the amenities offered at Lourmarine. Here at Lourmarin, we strive to provide the most excellent services in our massive, three floor French-inspired home. On the first floor, we offer a cafĂŠ with the most delectable selection of sweets, pastries, cocktails, tea, and coffee hand-crafted in-house in the healthiest way possible. The second floor offers all of the pampering essentials. There is a nail bar for manicures and pedicures along with numerous private rooms for different spa treatments and massages. The top floor is completely open for a view of the city with different types of hot springs that are good for health. We offer different types of baths such as lavender, rose, milk etc. for the ladies depending on what type of treatment they want. Not only that, but we also have a cocktail bar on the top floor so ladies can really kick back, enjoy the view, relax, and let all of their problems melt away.

FINAL MOOD BOARD We want to convey an eclectic elegance through the design of the house. The walls and floors will be very neutral in color, but the different interior decorations will add that special touch to the house. We want to focus on the details of the house, so a lot of the interior decorating time will be spent on furniture and lighting.

COLOR STORY IN PROGRESS Our original color story was very bland and we didn’t think that it truly conveyed the mood we were aiming for. Thus, we decided to add to it in order to make the color story more appropriate.

FINAL COLOR STORY We decided to add pops of color to our color story, in order to accommodate for the fun environment that we are trying to create for our customers. The neutral palette signifies elegance, while the pop colors add needed vibrance.

Our target market consists of women of all ages. They are a classy bunch who have a lot of money to spend. They work hard so they want to take time out of their busy schedules to hang out with their girlfriends at a luxurious establishment. We want the professional woman to bring her college aged daughters as well as her own mother to enjoy the different amenities that are offered at our concept store. These women want to enjoy a day off from their work and families to kick up their feet and get pampered by our wonderful staff.

BUILDING EXTERIOR: AFTER RENOVATION
We want the outside of the building to be painted white bricks for that modern feel. We will have some shrubbery to make our customers feel like they are really about to enter into someone’s elegant french home.
The Window Process We believe that fashion illustrations will be trending in the future, so we decided to illustrate all of our windows. They will be printed out on thick, white cardstock and placed in our windows. We will also utilize the help of future technological advancements to help light up our illustrations. They will have built-in lights so that they glow and appear radiant.
Our store name will appear as window stickons so that the name is subtle and clean.
The women in our illustrations represent our different customers enjoying the different services we offer. This young lady in particular, is ecstatic to be coming to our store. Her heart shaped sunglasses tell it all!

The second floor of our house is designed like a real home, where all the private bedrooms are located. Each room has a unique style of decor. But all of the styles still have the same modern French theme of the house. The private rooms can be booked individually or for a group to offer private massage/spa time.

Our roof is entirely open, so that our customers can enjoy the view while they sip cocktails and enjoy the warm waters of our hot springs. There are many proven health benefits from immersing in hot springs continuously, so we want to encourage this trend. Our customer wants the best for her self and body, so she will appreciate this unique amenity offered at Lourmarin.

We spent some time looking into the selection that will be offered in our cafe on the first floor. We wanted to choose foods and drinks with health benefits in order to bring customers to our store. Not only that, but a good, delectable taste is also a top priority for us. We concocted tea cocktails that aren’t abundant to find in Atlanta, so it will help set us apart from other restaurants and cafes in the area.
SPECIAL EVEN The illustration on our invitation ties back to the illustrations that are going to be placed in our windows. These invitations will be mailed to an exclusive list of Saks Fifth Avenue customers. We will obtain the list through a partnership with Saks. We want to generate a feeling of exclusivity by having an RSVP attend only event.
