Our Logo There are some things however that should not be attempted. Here are some examples of the correct and incorrect ways or using our Logo with color.

01 Legibility Legibility is key so please make sure that you can read the logo clearly. Leave lots of space around the logo and use on a white background.

04 Incorrect Photo Use This is an incorrect way of using our logo. The photo used is to light and busy so the logo is illegible.

02 Color Background If you need to have the logo on a solid color background please use our selected branding colors such as Digication ‘coral’.

05 Do not Rotate The logo should never be rotated.

03 Photo Background On some occations you might find the need to place our logo onto a photo. Only do so if the image is dark and not to busy.

06 No FX No effects should be added to the logo..such as dropshadows, outer glow, ect. 07 Vibrating Colors Never place the color logo onto anything that isnt black or white. In addition the background color should be one of the chosen branding colors and nothing to vivid.v

Our Mark Sometimes there will be a time where we need a smaller verson of our logo. A mark is a very great solution for makeing a statment with very little real estate.

01 White Background Mark on white background with a beveled square.

02 Color Backgrounds White reverse of the mark can be used on selected brand colors.

03 Experiment Have some fun with it. You can play with the mark as long as the rules are followed.v

Having fun with it Our treatment for illustrations should all start with vectors, rounded edges, and simple lines.

Photography When using photography there are a few rules to follow such as where to get photography, how much to spend, and when to take your own ph

01 Stock Photography

04 When in doubt

When purchasing photos its best to use a very repitable source. Gettyimages, Veer, Corbis, and iStockphoto are recommended.

When in doubt take your own photos. Why spend $$$ on a photo of sizzors when you can take it yourself. Just make sure its high resolution (300dpi or larger).

02 Dipicting People

04 Rule of Thirds

Its important to consider who our audience is and who we would like to dipict in our photos. Its usually best to avoid faces specifically. Please also consider diversity and avoid large groups of people becuase it can be to busy.

An image should be imagined as divided into nine equal parts by two equally-spaced horizontal lines and two equally-spaced vertical lines, and that important compositional elements should be placed along these lines or their intersections.

03 How to impliment photos Photos should be full bleed and aligned from the top of your grid hangline.
