Stock Control How To Track Sales To track sales, we are going to use the computer database used when ringing up the customer to record every purchase made. Therefore, we can see daily sales, weekly sales, and monthly sales and compare to see how well sales are doing and if we are on track. Every retailer should have sales goals every month that should be reached accordingly to ensure that the sales stay up to the forecast. Keeping up with stock within the stores Every night before closing, employees will look at what was sold each day and the quantity of how much was sold. Then, they will go in the stock room and pull the merchandise out for the opening employees. In the morning before the store opens, the employees must steam and hang whatever was pulled the night before and replenish the Bloor. If something is missing from the back, then the same style must be pulled in either another size and another color to make sure that the store looks Billed. Inventory Inventory must be taken by one of the store managers at every store of all merchandise that comes into the store. Then, every week either the manager or employee must go throughout the store and count each style and color to keep track of the inventory. This will help ensure that there is no stealing within the retailers. If something is selling extremely well, the manager must report it back to the buying ofBice so they can decide whether to send more to that retailer or to make more of that garment all together.
