SIRKEL 1,000 sq ft residence
TINY HOUSE PROJECT ASSIGNMENT: The project was to create a 1,000 sq/ft residence with no limitations except for square footage. Sirkel was created from the inspiration of the three dimensional forms that basic shapes can create. By designing the residence completely out of a basic circle, it really pushed the limits architecturally. The project included creating the floor plans, interior and exterior renderings, elevations, axonometrics, construction documents, and a 3D model.

MULTI-GENERATIONAL DALTILE BATHROOM PROJECT: Design a multi generational ADA accessible bathroom using Daltile products. Created client profiles with various needs to access bathroom. Designed a floor plan and hand rendering.

KENSINGTON PALACE DALTILE GARDENS PROJECT: Design a library and reception hall located in Kensington Palace Gardens on Billionaire Row in London. Produced floor plans and hand renderings in collaboration with AD top 100 designer Steven Volpe.

APARTMENT LIVING PROJECT: Part of a proposal for a redevelopment project located in South Salt Lake City. One focus of the housing proposal for the refugees is to design housing that will be suitable for various cultures, incomes, and family types. Through in-depth research of Bhutanese culture, I designed two units to show the contrast of Western and Bhutanese culture.

TRANSIT CENTER PROJECT: Part of a proposal for a redevelopment project located in South Salt Lake City. The new “S” Line in South Salt Lake will be vital in the redevelopment of the city. We were assigned to create a space that will bring visitors to the city in, and to create visual interest as well as keeping the functionality of the space. My design was inspired by the original design of train stations and the shape of the arches and clean simple spaces.

INCUBATOR SPACE
PROJECT: Part of a proposal for a redevelopment project located in South Salt Lake City. Many refugees will come to live in the US with unique skills and trades. The purpose of the incubator space is to give the refugees a place to showcase their skills and give them employment opportunity to begin their new life. The incubator space will also be unique to SSLC and will bring outside visitors.

COMMUNITY SPACE PROJECT: Part of a proposal for a redevelopment project located in South Salt Lake City. Located in the apartment building complex proposed for refugees, the community space will be an area of relaxation and bonding. It is designed to be a place where anyone will feel comfortable in and where tenants can be entertained by pool, computers, and television.

THE DISTRICT CAFE PROJECT: Part of a proposal for a redevelopment project located in South Salt Lake City. We were given the opportunity to choose something that we felt South Salt Lake could benefit from. I felt that by providing a clean and fresh cafe, it would liven up the area and bring the community together. Created branding, floor plan, exterior elevation, and Revit rendering.

VIZI EYEWEAR PROJECT: Working in a group, we developed a brand and created a corporate office for our client. The space was to be ina 15,000 sq. ft. existing building in Salt Lake City. We chose to design for Vizi Eyewear, a eyewear company focused on giving back. Based on the design of a honeycomb, we created a logo and brand. We also designed floor plans, lighting plans, furniture plans, fire escape, specifications and Revit Renderings.
