What is the programmatic concept that will solve the problem?
2 Having a facility for children to function as a part of society and a family member. A place to learn and bring the children out of their world and into ours.
2 Tactile space a social distance or closeness of another human (Human Factors in the Built Environment, 2014). This is important for social awareness activites for the children. A play area with plenty of room to move around but keeping it safe and close for social interaction. Keeping in mind of kinesthetic movement, tactile space, and thermal space. see page 130 Human factors

How will the programmatic cocept be applied to solve the problem?
3 Having all the resources avaliable for therapy needs. Minimual distractions for best results. Applying social interaction in a nondestructable safe environment.
3 Autistic children need sameness. Keeping signage and orginazitonal solutions the same help the child to feel comfort when walking into the space. Different things moving around the room can confuse and stress the child. Building custom furniture and orginazitonal soulutions to not be able to move throught out the space.
