About Dressed A runner-up at the 2015 Charlotte Startup Weekend competition, Dressed is a local, membership-based dress rental service intended as an affordable and sustainable alternative for women to look stylish for all occasions. It was partly inspired by the founder’s personal necessity from having to attend six weddings in one year on a limited budget. The vision of Dressed is to target underserved fashion markets to help subscribers save money, time, closet space, and of course, to create the perfect outfit while making the earth a little greener. Dressed ultimately aims to build fashion hubs in different cities consisting of women looking to share their closets and to encourage one another to look and feel their best while increasing the sustainability of the clothing industry.

HOW TO MAKE MONEY LENDING YOUR DRESS Part of our mission is in sustainability, reducing the need to buy new clothing and helping our clients to not only save money, but have the opportunity to make money through our dress lending program! We do not buy dresses, but rather hold your dresses in our inventory to be made available for rental. Clean Closet: Start by going through your closet and deciding what you are not wearing. We like to use the rule of thumb that if you have not worn it in the last 6 months to a year, it might be time to let it go. Remember, just because it's not right for you doesn't mean it's not perfect for someone else. We are looking dresses Sizes 0-26 for all occasions. Things to Look For: Condition - We are looking for items that are in good condition - free of wear, tears, and stains. Style - We are looking for items that are current styles that have been present in the malls within the last few years. Clean - You will want to make sure the items are freshly laundered. Schedule an Appointment: Email us at info@dressedclt.com to schedule an appointment. We can come to you or you can come to us, whatever works best for you! We work 7 days a week and will do our best to accommodate your schedule.
