Hey there Firebender! I hope November has been the best for you all, and hope that y'all have recovered from your Thanksgiving food coma, because I know i have. So proud that many of you still volunteered over Thanksgiving break! We were able to serve nearly 200 service hours for the month of November, and let's keep that passion for service burning all the way through December. Hope you all aren't stressing too hard from finals and if you ever need a break or stress reliever, go to an event or social, possibly... the DECEMBER DCM! 11.04 Campus Cleanup S e r v i c e
H i g h l i g h t s
Our Key Club held a Campus Clean at our school. We were given trash bags and gloves. We went around the school and picked up trash. . It was pretty cool and fun to see our school cleaner than before. I learned that we should encourage others to throw away their garbage to help clean our school and improve the environment. Kristi Le, Freshmen Member
This was my first Key Club event and I got to help set up their November decorations and tents. We made care packages for people for their Thanksgiving. It was great to learn I made a difference in my community, especially people in need. I will help again when Cecilia’s Closet comes next year. Alyssa Merrit, Junior Member
