You will ﬁnd a large selection of leisure vehicles: touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans and related equipment and accessories (for use in, or with, or for the enjoyment of such vehicles), on display for you to view and purchase at the Motorhome and Caravan Show 2024.

The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (“the Regulations”).

Trading Standards have advised NCC Events (as promoter of this show) that any contract signed by a consumer for the purchase of a leisure vehicle will be regarded as being “on premises”. This means that there is no automatic right under the Regulations for a consumer to cancel a contract for any purchase(s) of a leisure vehicle or related equipment/accessories concluded at the show because it will be regarded as an ‘on premises’ contract. Please note that some leisure vehicle manufacturers’ stands will have third party appointed dealers trading from their stand. Third party dealer representatives are identiﬁable by special badges clearly stating they are from an ‘Appointed Dealership’ and the name of the dealership will be in bold text. If you require more information, please enquire with the dealership/retailer prior to your purchase.

Sarah Wakely

Sarah is Editor-in-chief of Practical Motorhome and Practical Caravan. Among the many adventures she’s enjoyed in both caravans and motorhomes are memory-packed trips to Italy, Iceland, Romania, the Faroe Islands, Spain and Ireland, as well as seeing the Northern Lights in Norway.

Terry Owens

Terry has been caravanning for over 50 years. He began writing technical articles for the industry in 1998 and now writes for both business and consumer publications. Over the years, Terry has answered countless questions from fellow caravanners and motorhomers.

David Whitehead

David has worked in the caravan industry for 36 years, 17 years in manufacturing and 19 years with the industry association, the NCC. David has a wealth of technical and practical knowledge.

Peter Rosenthal

Peter has been editing and writing motorhome features for over 20 years. As well as contributing to the UK motorhome press, Peter also specialises in technical reviews on his Camperfan YouTube channel.

Matt Sims

Andy Harris

Andy has over 40 years’ experience supplying and ﬁtting highquality technical products into motorhomes, campervans and caravans – as well as clocking up hundreds of thousands of miles in his own motorhomes. His extensive knowledge includes batteries and charging equipment, inverters, airconditioning systems and mobile Wi-ﬁ.

Matt has over 17 years’ experience in the Motorhome Industry. He has a background in motorhome sales, hire, storage and repairs. In 2021, he launched the Motorhome Matt podcast providing expert help on buying, selling, using and hiring a motorhome.

The Central Registration and Identiﬁcation Scheme (CRiS) consists of two elements, caravan registration (similar to the DVLA for cars) and unique VIN identiﬁcation.

All touring caravans manufactured since 1992 by NCC members are recorded on the CRiS Database by their unique 17-digit vehicle identiﬁcation number (VIN).

The VIN and the caravan description are recorded on the touring caravan registration document, which is sent by CRiS to the caravans registered keeper.

For new caravans, UK dealers should automatically register your details with CRiS.

For pre-owned tourers, register with CRiS for the lifetime you are the keeper.

CRiS Registration is a one off fee and costs just £20.95.

Tow A Frame have designed their A Frame system to be the easiest system to use. With over 30 years motor industry experience and a decade of towing experience with A Frames and trailers, they understand what it’s like to use the products they sell.

Safety, ease of use, quality – using the knowledge of industry experts and more than a decade of their own experience using the system, they have studied the way it is used to design and manufacture what they believe to be the best system currently available.

The Smart Box Duo electronic braking system is the only dual sensing system available in UK –meaning it is proportionate and offers 100% braking effort. The Intelligent system only brakes when you brake AND braking effort is detected.

The Pozilock positive stop pin system is simple, safe, and easy to use. Push the pins in, turn 90 degrees until they stop turning, only then can the A Frame be correctly connected. The A Frame locks the pin and can only be connected when the pin is correctly located.

The Tow GLIDE Double lock allows easy connection of the tow hitch with about 5 inches hitch movement before its locked. It’s been designed in a fail-safe locking mechanism so that when the vehicle pulls away, the user MUST check the legs are correctly locked, only then can the double lock mechanism be used. One system backs up the other yet it only weighs 9.5 kg which is 25% lighter than competitors’ products.

Baked Sea Bas

A true nod to my Cantonese style of cooking and to a special dish my Dad would cook in the restaurant. Sealing the fish into a parcel you can guarantee this fish supper will be tender and juicy and pack a punch of classic Chinese flavours.

Kwoklyn will be cooking tasty campsite dishes in the Inspiration Theatre on Saturday and Sunday.

Preparation: 10 Minutes

Cooking: 20 Minutes

Serves: 4

INGREDIENTS:

4 sea bass ﬁllets

Thumb size piece of ginger, (cut into matchsticks)

1 tbsp oil

Pinch salt and white pepper

MARINADE

INGREDIENTS:

2 tbsp water

2 tbsp light soy sauce

1 tbsp dark soy sauce

1 tbsp vegetable oil

1 tsp sesame oil

3 spring onions, (chopped into ringlets)

2 thai red chillies, ﬁnely sliced pinch white pepper

METHOD:

1. Preheat oven to 180c / 350f.

2. Place all of the marinade ingredients together in a bowl and mix well.

3. Brush oil onto the skin of the fish and then season lightly with salt and pepper. Place the fish skin side down onto a large piece of non-stick kitchen foil and spoon a ¼ of the marinade over the flesh and a ¼ of the sliced ginger, then carefully wrap the fish in foil creating a loose airtight packet. Repeat with the remaining fillets.

4. Place the parcels onto a baking tray and into the preheated oven. Bake for 1520 minutes depending on how thick the fillets are, or until the fish is just starting to flake.

5. Remove from the foil parcels and serve with steamed rice or rice noodles and drizzled with the delicious cooking liquor.

There are a number of cafés and restaurants within the Halls and along the Atrium Concourse.

Cash Machines

ATMs are available along the public Atrium Concourse. Other machines are available at Birmingham International Train Station.

Children

Children’s wristbands can be picked up (free of charge), at all Hall main entrances and info points. They can help enormously in reuniting lost children with parents and guardians. Please ﬁll in all details carefully.

Cloakroom

Cloakrooms are located around the public Atrium Concourse, operating between 09:30 and 18:00 hrs daily at a charge of £2/item and £3/luggage. Overnight storage is not possible and any items not collected by this time will be taken to the Security Suite. Please call 0121 767 3883.

Accessibility

Accessible toilets are available across the venue. Changing Places facilities are available by Hall 20. If you require any assistance, please contact a member of NEC staff.

First Aid

If you require First Aid assistance, please notify any member of NEC staff or the Organiser. If the injury is serious please phone the Venue Operations Centre on 0121 767 2222 or 2222 from any internal (black) phone.

General Convenience

Londis Newsagents have a branch on the Atrium Concourse next to Hall 9, selling a range of confectionary, basic medications, plasters and stationery.

Lost Property

For lost property, please attend the Organisers’ Office at the front of Hall 19 in the first instance. Call the Lost Property Office on 0121 767 3883.

Organisers’ Ofﬁce

The main Organisers’ Ofﬁce is located at the front of Hall 19 and is open between 08:00 – 18:30 hrs each day. The Press Ofﬁce is located at the front of Hall 18.

Tickets

The See Tickets enquiry desks are located at the front of Hall 10 and 17 and are open between 9:30 - 18:00 hrs each day.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the Venue aside from within designated smoking areas. This also applies to the use of e-cigarettes and vaping. Designated smoking areas are located outside each of the Atrium Main Entrances.

Railway

Birmingham International Railway Station is a 20-minute walk to the show. From the main train station concourse, visitors should follow signs for the NEC over the Bridgelink and down the escalators to reach the show. Alternatively, a free shuttle bus service is available from the Bridgelink and will be signposted accordingly.

The NEC operates a free shuttle bus service from the Car Parks to the Atrium entrances. This service operates between 08:00 – 19:00 hrs daily.

Taxis

T.O.A. Taxis are available from the taxi rank outside Atrium Entrance 1. If you have requested a pick-up from another private hire ﬁrm, they will collect you from the secondary rank next to North 1a car park.

Toilets

Toilets are situated at the rear of all halls throughout the show and at various intervals along the public Atrium Concourse. Any member of NEC staff will be able to direct you to the nearest one. Alternatively, please refer to your show maps.
