About the School The School of Humanities and Social Sciences at Galgotias university is a centre of research and teaching composed of six different Bachelor and Master level programs: Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, English, Political Sciences and Foreign Languages. The School also attempt to achieve academic excellence through liberal education that enhances the capacity to understand, analyze and offer solutions to contemporary economic, political and social issues. The Programs of study at School of Humanities and Social Sciences foster social, cultural and political understanding as well as critical approach to develop students knowledge in their respective discipline, and acquire skills for rewarding and meaningful career.

Students of Economics are encouraged to engage in internships in corporate and business organizations. Students of Social work are placed in NGOs, CSR and government welfare institutions for concurrent field work training and block placement
Students of Psychology are placed in hospitals
and psychiatric units for clinical training.
