PRESENTATION OF PROJECTS

On January 26, 2023, Junior Chamber International (JCI) chapters from di erent parts of the world and the country gathered together for the presentation of projects at House Manila at Newport, Pasay City, Philippines. The ceremony began with a registration and socialization period where members from di erent chapters mingled, networked, and shared stories of their previous experiences in JCI. This was followed by a formal program that started with a welcome address from the host, JCI Manila. Delegates were welcomed by the President of JCI Manila, Pres. Eric Ke, who emphasized the importance of the organization's mission and the role of each member in making a di erence in society.

The event then proceeded with the presentation of the various projects and initiatives of JCI Manila. Each project was present ed by the directors who gave a brief overview of the project's goals, objectives, and impact on the community. On January 27, 2023, a Twinning Ceremony was held before the JCI Manila Induction and Turnover Ceremonies at the Mariott Hotel in Pasay City, Philippines. The ceremony was a symbolic event that fortifies the relationship between JCI Manila and its sister chapters. JCI chapters gathered to create a formal acknowledgment of this relationship and a demonstration of the commitment of both chapters to work together for the betterment of their communities.

The Twinning Ceremony started with the introduction of the delegates from each chapter. They were welcomed by JCI Manila President, Eric Ke, who expressed his excitement to witness this special event. The ceremony then continued with a series of symbolic gestures, including giving of gifts and signing which symbolized the bond between JCI Manila and various JCI chapters.

The highlight of the event was the Twinning Ceremony, where the sister chapters o cially twinned with one another. Each chapter representative came up to the stage and exchanged gifts with their twin chapter representative. The gifts represented the culture and traditions of their respective countries, and the exchange signified the commitment to foster a strong bond between the twinned chapters.

One of the highlights of the ceremony was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between JCI Manila and the participating chapters. On February 21, 2023, JCI Manila held its monthly General Membership Meeting (GMM) entitled "Economic Forum" at the Rizal Park Hotel in Manila, Philippines. The event featured prominent guest speakers from variousindustries, including the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Secretary Fred Pascual, Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) President Wick Veloso, April Lee Tan of COL Financial Group, Inc., Mikko Barranda and Roy Amado Golez Jr. from Leechiu Property Consultants. The forum aimed to provide JCI members with valuable insights on the current state of the economy and how it a ects businesses and individuals.

The forum began with the call to order followed by the opening remarks from JCI Manila Presiden Eric Ke who expressed his gratitude to the guest speakers and sponsors for their participation in the event. He also emphasized the importance of economic awareness and its impact on JCI's mission to create positive change in society.
