ANTI MUSLIM “LET’S END THE SILENCE” Together! VIEW AMID Online campaign starts Friday May 1st 2020 CORONAVIRUS The COVID-19 pandemic has now taken the religious grounds in many countries including the UK, India, USA, and others with rising instances of hatred and scapegoating of the Muslim community.
News sources shared that people believe that the Islamic population is the one to blame for the proliferation of coronavirus. With fake news spreadig all over the internet with the help of twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, and other major social media handles, islamophobia is raising grounds on irrational evidence. Videos and photos of mosques being open and functioning with devotees worshiping amid the strict orders from authorities are misguiding the locked out flock of internet geeks. The anti-muslim view arising from such incidents is of far more concern after the pandemic is under control report says. Recently Organisation of Islamic Cooperation said, Islamophobia is rising around the world with severe outcomes to be seen in the future. Reports also found Police and authorities giving special preference to Muslim people. Such an atmosphere is of grave concern says Muslim organizations around the world due to the beginning of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

BILL GATES ATTEMPTS TO EMBED MICROCHIPS IN MANKIND THE REAL AGENDA BEHIND THE COVID-19 OUTBREAK Front Cover Story Cont’d... Russian chief Nikita Mikhalkov asserted that Billionaire Bill Gates may be trying to embed humanity with nano-chips under the appearance of vaccination, attempting to control individuals. The ultimate aim is to solve the problem of “over-population”. The on-going coronavirus emergency has resulted in several conspiracy theories. People are trying to find the “mystery” behind the pandemic. A bunch of them revolve around the Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and his endeavours to develop a vaccine against COVID-19. Many “truth-researchers” found the Microsoft patent that recently got worldwide recognition to be particularly disturbing. The patent WO/2020/060606 depicts a “cryptocurrency system using body movement information – essentially, a gadget which can be utilized to mine digital coins using one’s body. Or, then again, rather, grant cryptocurrency to the client whose body activity information is checked, as the patent uniquely puts it. The patent caught the attention of Nikita Mikhalkov, prestigious Oscarwinning movie director. The director pushed quite a theory in another issue of “Besogon TV” ( generally translated as “demon banisher”, named, In whose pocket the state is ?’. The show was aired on Friday by the Rossiya 24 TV channel, but was then quietly brought down from its schedule and not repeated. The Russian director claims that the very
name of the patent has a mysterious importance in it, blaming Gates for attempting to embed people with nanochips to digitally control them. Mikhalkov then goes on a tirade about a tragic future. The digitized society would be split into two unequal parts, specifically the Elite and the Human drones they control. Furthermore, He pointed finger at Herman Gref, the leader of Russia’s state-owned bank Sberbank who is a known defender of digitalization of society and called him “The Gates Global Co-conspirator”. However, the director’s theory lacked as to how the problem of over-population will be solved by the system. The director’s new issue of “Besogon TV” became a web sensation, getting around 700,000 views in less than a day. The conclusions Mikhalkov drew are very fanatical and the patent WO/2020/060606 isn’t directly connected to Gates. Gates is actually concentrating on running his and his better half’s Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Moreover, it didn’t mention any microchipping, rather describing sensors combined with a “device” to register body movement. One affirmed purpose behind such an innovation is to encourage
a healthy lifestyle with clients awarded cryptocurrency for working out. Another such conspiracy which is closely linked to the above-mentioned theory, named Agenda ID2020, was doing rounds on the internet a few days back. It says that vaccination aims to embed nanochips in the humanity. The real motivation behind the vaccination is to control the very personal information and belongings of a person and to reward or punish him digitally. The whole agenda was planned behind the doors of the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2019. The theory accuses Bill Gates and the Pharmaceutical companies such as The Rockefellers and The Rothschild which are also the proponent of population control, were the master planners and are thus accused for the
outbreak of Covid-19 Pandemic. Many celebrities, politicians and re-known personalities around the world are talking about this and casting doubts on as to how this virus originated and spread and what is the real agenda behind it. Recently Russian tennis legend Marat Safin said that the corona Virus could be an excuse for embedding microchips into humans. Furthermore, he said that all this was planned at Davos [Economic] forum and Bill Gates knew that. Everything was planned in a way so that this vaccination agenda could work, said Safin. This tennis legend is not the only one who is supporting such conspiracies, recently British former World Boxing Champion Amir khan said that the Installation of 5G could be the real aim behind this coronavirus outbreak. Similarly, a petition has been filed against Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in White House. The petition says that American Government should investigate as to how the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in collaboration with The John Hopkins Centre for Health security and the World Economic Forum conducted Event 201, a high-level pandemic rehearsal on 18 October,2019, in New York, just weeks before the outbreak of Covid-19. The petition states that Bill Gates has always been indulged in such anti-human population control activities and we can’t trust his new vaccine against the coronavirus.

Reaching an age of a 100 is rare, but it’s also an achievement. The Londoner Dabir Choudhury is looking to do something that for most his age wouldn’t do. He decided to walk 100 laps around his communal garden while fasting during the month of Ramadan in an effort to raise money for 26 charities, including those distributing aid to Gaza, Syria and Yemen. Dabir initially made a target to raise £1,000 last week on the 26th of April, for the victims of COVID-19. He set a target to complete walking 100 laps of the communal garden outside his house while fasting during the month of Ramadan. Within the first nine hours, the JustGiving page setup to accept donations and had reached its target. In the next 48 hours donations began to pour in from across the
country. The total now stands at over £6,000. Overwhelmed by the support, Dabir has renewed his target and he won’t stop walking as long as donors keep donating. Money raised from the donations will go towards 26 different national charities supporting COVID-19 victims as well as international ones providing aid and assistance in the Middle East. In a statement acknowledging his supporters, Dabir has said: “Thank you for your donations. I’m not fighting alone to put a smile on the faces of hungry children, we are fighting together. This money will help families who are in desperate need in the UK, Bangladesh and many other countries.” To donate go to Dabir Choudhury’s JustGiving page.

London Court of Appeal dismisses Punjab National Bank USD $45m fraud claim
End of the road for Punjab National Bank’s USD $45m fraud claim brought in the UK Courts and criticising PNB’s failure to disclose existing proceedings it had brought in the debt tribunal in Chennai. The English Courts are a popular location for Indian banks to pursue international debt and fraud claims against Indian and foreign businesses, even though any recoverable assets may be outside the UK. Despite the fact that an English judgment is not necessarily recognised by courts in India or other countries, Indian Banks frequently seek to commence proceedings in England to obtain a substantive judgment which it can then deploy in foreign jurisdictions.
The Court of Appeal in London has refused permission for the British subsidiary of Punjab National Bank (PNB) to appeal against a judgment dismissing its USD $45 million claim for fraud and misrepresentation in respect of loans given to Indian and US companies involved in the renewable energy sector. This was the third consecutive defeat for PNB in this case, the English High Court having found that no fraud had been committed by the defendant borrowers against PNB
PNB had claimed that it had been misled and defrauded by the actions of the defendants following the granting of loans amounting to $45 million to companies in the US and India controlled by the individual defendants. The bank also alleged that money had been siphoned off and payments due had not been made under the loan facilities and guarantees. The defendants were associated with either of two groups of companies, Pesco Beam and Trishe Resources. Those and related companies borrowed sums from the Bank to fund, respectively, oil re-refining and wind farm projects in the US. Although the Defendants were all based in India and the US the Bank asserted that on the basis of the loan
THE CASE
facility agreements, the proper place for its claims was England. The court accordingly granted permission to the Bank to serve proceedings in India and the US. However unbeknown to the court, the Bank had already issued proceedings for the same debts in the Debt Tribunal in Chennai, India and, with its syndicated partner Bank of Baroda, in the US. The revelation of the foreign proceedings proved to be the Bank’s undoing. The defendants argued that there had been material breaches of the Bank’s duty of full and frank disclosure pursuant to which the orders for service out of the jurisdiction should be set aside. Zaiwalla & Co. obtained an order for disclosure of various material that had been placed before the court
Sarosh Zaiwalla, Senior Partner of Zaiwalla & Co, the London law firm representing the defendants, said ‘The case serves as a message to Banks that the English Courts will take a very dim view of a ‘lack of candour’ with the Court, if they are seeking an Order in the absence of the defendant and claiming that the English Courts are the correct place to deal with a claim.” The English High Court also criticised PNB’s lengthy statements of case which it said demonstrated a lack of particularity and specificity, and that the case of fraud was not supported by cogent facts
at the ex parte hearings, enabling an analysis of the process by which the orders were obtained. A review of the material identified multiple failures on the part of the Bank and its solicitors and barrister which led to the orders for service abroad and service by email to be set aside. The High Court had previously found no sufficiently serious case of misrepresentation and deceit, and had set aside the entire claim for procedural shortcomings and the bank’s failure to disclose material facts to the court while obtaining orders without notice to the defendants. The Bank has been ordered to pay GBP £335,000 towards the costs of eight defendants represented by Zaiwalla & Co.
and evidence. Lord Justice Floyd’s recent decision to refuse permission to appeal has effectively brought to an end the two-year legal battle. Rohit Ralleigh, Senior Solicitor, commented: “English courts expect certain standards of conduct from parties and their legal advisers which here were not met. Parties seeking to obtain orders without notice to their opponents have a duty of candour, and generalised allegations of fraud may not survive even the early stages of litigation. Procedural failings are likewise susceptible to punitive orders.” Robert Maxwell Marsh, Solicitor added: “The Court found that PNB had failed in its duty to make full and frank disclosure whilst obtaining an ex parte order. The Bank failed, for example, to disclose that it had brought related proceedings in other jurisdictions. Likewise the Court found that PNB’s claims against the defendants in deceit and misrepresentation did not demonstrate a serious issue to be tried and were lacking the core components needed for such claims. “These decisions highlight the importance of the duty of candour and the stringent consequences parties will face for material non-disclosure. PNB has now exhausted its appeal options and must pay our clients over £300,000 towards their legal costs. Our clients are relieved that the Bank’s appeals have been dismissed.”

GLASGOW MUSLIMS PROVIDE RAMADAN MEALS TO MOST Raja Mohammed Afzal VULNERABLE, REGARDLESS OF FAITH By Muhammad Zafran
knew him for the best or part of my life, as did most people living in the city. A very well respected and well liked individual who got involved in all aspects of the community. A trustee as a local masjid, a business owner of one of the largest taxi firms in the city (Galaxy Cars), a community activist who single handedly organised and set up a street watch with the local police which has been used as benchmark for community and police collaboration across the city. He was a community visionary setting up joint ventures with businesses, community organisations, emergency services, and the people. He was a pioneer of the Mega Mela that is held on an annual basis at Ward End Park, and worked extensively with the organisers making it happen. Mohammed Afzal left a legacy in the city, and his community work led to the creation of community organisations, events and relationships that are still flourishing leading to a much improved bond in the city.
Muslim Engagement and Development (MEND) is supporting Glasgow Muslim Aid to deliver 200 iftar meals everyday during the month of Ramadan to all who are vulnerable, regardless of faith. Hot meal collection is available every evening at Masjid Ibrahim on Paisley Road West Glasgow. Many who are accessing the service are asylum seekers, homeless individuals,
Jawad Khursheed, Chair of MEND Scotland, says:
“
In these unique and difficult times, it is so important that all communities pull together to support one and other. This is why MEND is behind initiatives such as Glasgow Muslim Aid who assist all who are in need of support, a hot meal and a friendly face
and those on very low incomes. MEND is supporting the initiative by fundraising and providing volunteers to deliver food parcels to those who are unable to travel to collect the food themselves. This month i am writing about a Man whose passing away has touched many in the community, especially his own immediate family. My dear Uncle Raja Mohammed Afzal, was loved and respected by everyone in the family and was always an individual who would make others laugh with his presence. Mohammed Afzal always served the community and was very popular with the West Midlands Police and especially with the Stechford Police Station who still speak highly off him. Mohammed Afzal did a lot of work with the mosques and speaking to a lot of the scholars, they say that Mr Afzal used to cater for their needs and used to tell them that you keep on spreading the message of religion into people’s hearts and dont worry about you financially getting stuck. vide everyday essentials. MEND hopes that our support can ensure that all those who need it can receive a much-needed hot meal. The work of Glasgow Muslim Aid and other Muslim-run charities is vital during this time and MEND will continue to support efforts such as this by charities and non-profits across the country.

Sikh Americans serving America during the current paramedic!
Bhai Khanhiya Ji serving water to a fallen enemy soldier on the battlefield The American Sikh Council (ASC) wants to sincerely congratulate every Sikh and their associated organizations for stepping up during a very stressful and hazardous time due to the pandemic, to cook and serve the needy across our nation and the world. Sikhs take inspiration from their own religious history and never forgot those that were deeply imbued in the ONE-
NESS of all. One among them was the Bhai Khaniya Ji! Bhai Khanhiya Ji (1648-1718), was born in Sodhara near Wazirabad in Sialkot, Punjab. He became a disciple of (the 9th) Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji and then later (the 10th) Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Bhai Khanhiya Ji was of religious inclined and had great empathy for others, from early childhood.
ECC Pakistan Approved Rs. 75 Billion for low income groups A total of Rs. 75 Billion is approved by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of Cabinet on Wednesday, to be distributed among 6.2 million people who are daily wage earners and could not earn for their families due to partial lockdown in the country. According to the Ministry of Finance, the amount will shortly be released from PM’s Relief Package of Rs. 200 Billion. An amount of Rs. 12000 will be given to a deserving person in the “Mazdoor ka Ehsaas Programme; a scheme which is a part of the Ehsaas Initiative. This program aims to extend governmental support to low-income groups in
order to help them to feed their families in these difficult times. 6 Million people would be benefited under this Plan Fourth category. Moreover, 12 million laborers have already been benefited under category one to three of the Kifalat Programme. The ECC called on the industries and other social developmental sectors to join hands to ensure transparency and efficiency in the process of distributing money to deserving people. However, there are concerns regarding the initiation of two separate programmes, having the same aims, may lead to overlapping and unequal distribution.
During the second battle of Anandpur Sahib (1704), Punjab (South Asia) Guru Gobind Singh Ji, assigned him the task of serving water to the wounded Sikh soldiers. However, he performed his duty diligently without making any distinction between Sikhs and non-Sikhs. Some soldiers complained to Guru Gobind Singh Ji that Bhai Khanhiya Ji has been providing water and care to the fallen enemy soldiers as well. Guru Gobind Singh summoned Bhai Khanhiya Ji and questioned him about the complaint. He politely replied “Graceful lord you taught me the lesson of humanity, universal brotherhood, impartiality, equality, love, peace and serving the suffering humanity without discrimination on the grounds of caste, creed, race or color. As such I only see ‘you’ wherever I see people suffering. Hence I served water to the enemy soldiers as well.” Guru Gobind Singh Ji, was so pleased with the reply, blessed him and told that he had truly understood his teaching. Then Guru Gobind Singh ji gave him some medicinal balm so that he could use it on the wounds of all the fallen soldiers, including the enemy. The modern-day Red Cross was founded in 1863 by Henry Dunant, but the precursor to this selfless-service (sewa) helping humanity, since 1704 is Bhai Khanhiya Ji a Sikh who started doing this ‘sewa’ more than a 150 years earlier, which continues today by the followers
of the Sikh Religion worldwide. Kirit Karni (Honest hard work), Vand Shakna (Sharing your earnings with the less fortunate) and Naam Japna (Remembering the Divine at all times). The commitment to the foundational principles by the followers of the Sikh Religion speaks volumes thorough their active sewa. The five virtues promoted by the Sikh Scripture, Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji to be inculcated and practiced are; Daya (Deep level of Compassion), Sat (Complete compliance to Truth), Santokh (Inner Contentment), Nimarta (Overflowing Humility) and Pyar (Total Love). Treating everyone equally, sharing with others and serving everyone with compassion and love, especially towards those that are in pain or suffering, is the Sikh way of life Sikh Americans and Sikhs around the world in more than a hundred countries, against the odds, have stepped up everywhere risking their lives during this ongoing global pandemic to help with needed food and other critical essentials to the suffering and destitute. The world today needs much healing, starting with humans to nature. As Sikhs we can only pray to the ‘ONE’ to give us strength so we can continue to do what our religion teaches us, which is, ‘to be actively engaged with the world while serving everyone to best of our ability’.

Furthermore, the chairperson of the council shall be appointed by the President of Pakistan on the advice of Prime Minister of Pakistan, it stated. All the members of the council including the chairperson would belong to the
non-Muslim community. The purpose of the Council will be to address the shortcomings in the existing structure and procedures and act as a front guard for the preservation of minorities’ rights. The formation of the council was also binding on the government under the landmark judgment of the Apex Court [PLD 2014 SC 699], written by the then Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jillani. The Supreme court ordered the government to form a National Council for Minorities’ rights in suo motu case in the backdrop of the bomb blast at a church in Peshawar in June 2014. Moreover, the Apex Court asked the government to modify the curricula and to add religious tolerance in the syllabus.

INDIAN MUSLIM WOMEN DENIED ENTRY INTO HOSPITAL
With the surge of Islamophobia around the world and an antiMuslim stance, the society around the world has beaked a scornful eye against the Muslim people. Something similar has been seen in India where reports show how some hospitals refused to treat Muslim people. In the state of Jharkhand, a 30-year-old woman named Rizwana Khatun miscarried after she was barred from entering the hospital premises. A similar situation was seen in Bharatpur, Rajasthan; another Indian state where a woman was refused admission on the ethnic grounds. Such a situation of hatred gained ground when the Islamic devotees of Tablighi jamaat violated government orders of no religious or non- religious gatherings of over 50 people and had a meeting of over 2000 people. Reports also portray how the Uttar Pradesh chief minister had a gathering and went unnoticed and unpublished. Several Muslim people told that they were denied purchase at the groceries and chemist shops around the country. The communal angle to the picture started when the Bhartiya Janata Party(BJP) government introduced the Citizenship Amendment Act(CAA) last year, which the Muslim community perceived as discriminatory.

Amir Khan and Human Appeal Team Up to Pack a Punch Against Coronavirus Speaking after the latest round of deliveries, Amir Khan said:
Champion pro boxer Amir Khan and Manchester-based humanitarian charity Human Appeal have been working together to provide for communities around greater Manchester who are in need during lockdown. On Friday 1st May, Human Appeal and the Amir Khan Foundation hit Haji Cash & Carry in Rochdale to pack up 17,000 items into 1,000 food parcels, including everyday essentials such as tinned foods, long-life milk, biscuits, pita bread, teabags and flour. The parcels were delivered to families in Rochdale and across Greater Manchester over the weekend, however as long as there are families in need both
Human Appeal and Amir Khan have vowed to continue working together as well as with other businesses and charities around the region. Dr Mohamed Ashmawey, Human Appeal CEO said: “Having Amir and his foundation working with us is a privilege and the extra pairs of hands as well as the motivation he brings is uplifting to all of us. “You can see how much it means to people to know that Amir is on the front line delivering help to the communities close to his heart. It’s a real boost to both community spirit and the spirit of our dedicated teams, especially as we observe Ramadan.”
It was amazing to join Human Appeal to put together so many food parcels and deliver them to those who need them most. Seeing the smiles on people’s faces as we dropped them off made it all worth it, and brought home the scale of the effort needed to look after our most vulnerable people during what is a testing time for all of us. The work Human Appeal & Amir Khan Foundation has been doing is inspiring, bringing people together when we all have to stay physically apart. I look forward to working with them again as we help even more people.

Covid-19 is not the only challenge for Muslims in Modi’s hate-filled India While the world is grappling with a pandemic, The Modi government is attempting to get political benefit from the situation using India’s besieged Muslims. This new wave of hate and anger erupted in the last week of March, when thousands of Muslims gathered at a Delhi congregation at TableeghiJamaat Headquarter. The authorities immediately took action and evacuated the place. Hundreds of Muslims were tested positive for coronavirus. The government officials added fuel to the fire by separately quoting the stats and number of cases connected to the Muslim congregation. The Ministry for Minority Affairs titled it as a “Talibani crime” instead of negligence which further fanned the flame. The Muslims across India are facing the consequences and impacts of these statements. Mr Modi didn’t so far have paid any heed to the simmering communal
tensions. In fact, the headers like “Corona Jihad” and a series of false antiMuslim WhatsApp forwards have made the situation even worse. Soon after these charges of spreading the virus, Riots and attacks against Muslims flared up across the country. The Modi government, through such anti-Muslim statements and charges, are inciting the communal rifts. They are trying to gain political benefits from the situation. Muslims in India are bearing serious implications of this. They are being attacked, lynched and labelled as “Virus Spreaders”. False news and videos featuring Muslims, spreading virus are doing rounds on the internet which is enticing the anger of extremists. Muslims in India are not just suffering from COVID but also from hate, anger and envy brewed by government authorities.

Halifax index shows first signs of pandemic house price drops “The UK property market is one of the cornerstones of the economy and releasing it from the shackles of the current pandemic must be a priority if we are to ensure it remains in good health. Although the damage appears minimal at present, it will take a few months before the full extent is clear in any market data. At present, our hands are tied and we simply don’t have the operational capacity as agents to service the industry. This must be the first focus and once we are back up and running, buyers and sellers will return in their droves as we remain a nation of aspirational homeowners.”
Director of Benham and Reeves, Marc von Grundherr, commented
“Although a month on month drop is no cause for panic, it appears that the market slowdown due to the current pandemic is starting to show with the annual rate of growth also easing. Potential plans to relax lockdown restrictions could bring a welcome boost to the UK market but while an increase in operational activity may help to an extent, the more extensive damage will be on stock entering the market and the demand for this stock. This impact will be fuelled more by fear than finance and it may take many months yet before buyers and sellers feel it is ‘safe’ to return to the fray. However, there remains an appetite from buyers with many still taking to the internet to window shop and once these shops reopen physically, we should see enough activity to tide things over until the end of the year.”
Founder and Managing Director of Sourced Capital, Stephen Moss, commented
“We know that the number of homes reaching the market has plummeted in the wake of the current pandemic and this, of course, has serious implications on the housing market in terms of transactional volume and prices. However, it’s important to remember that this isn’t driven purely by apprehensive sellers as many agents are simply unable to carry out their day to day work to actually market these properties. As restrictions ease, and the financial furlough precautions many have taken are reversed, a heightened level of activity should, at least, bring some positive movement. Yes, this may be muted to begin with, but with the market all but ground to a halt, any progress is a positive.”
Founder and CEO of GetAgent.co.uk, Colby Short, commented
LOCKDOWN AND ITS IMPACT ON THE BUSINESS
Business and the economy have been ever-evolving since the advent of the monetary system. For centuries we have been involved in the continuous and steady cycle of the business. There has been some kind of movement whatever the situation is but this has been the first time that the whole world is at standstill. Right now the time we publish this article, 2.6 billion out of 7.8 billion world population is in absolute lockdown; i.e. 1/3rd of the total population and the other 2/3rd is in partial lockdown. Not only does this come to us at a huge economic cost but also a moral and social cost.
The businesses at the small and medium level are the ones that are suffering the most. With little or no capital and cash in hand, it has become a situation of deep concern for the authorities to compensate for the losses and the survival of the bourgeois. Looking at it from a different perspective; Businesses are still spending on the salaries and the other fixed expenses like interest on loan and mortgages; while on the other hand no income is being generated. This situation is what we term here as double grinding – losing money on both ends. According to the United Nations (UN), the slowdown in the
global economy caused by the coronavirus outbreak is likely to cost at least $1 trillion in 2020. The repercussion faced will last till 2022, study says. The major Stock Exchanges in the world saw their biggest one day fall ever since its inception. Stock Indices like FTSE, Dow Jones, S&P 500 Index, NASDAQ Composite, Nikkei 225, and BSE Sensex are all struggling to gain momentum after a major blowback from multiple directions (lockdown playing the major part). The UN has also stated that the World economy will go into recession with the likely exception of India and China. While on the one
side Bank of America says the recession is already here: ‘Jobs will be lost, wealth will be destroyed’ on the other hand job losses could go as high as 47 million, according to a Federal Reserve estimate. The other facet to the game could come from this unemployment which might go unnoticed. These unemployed people are no more an asset to the economy and thus reduce the overall spending, causing a loss of potential business for all the small, medium and large enterprises. Although UK
lockdown could be relaxed in weeks, says top govt. adviser but keeping the 6-month long lockdown in mind, the country could lose all its year’s business with hampered revival and growth in the coming years. Australia as a country can be put forth as a perfect example of how grave the lockdown caused by the pandemic is – Australia has never been in a state of recession for the past 28 years, even surviving the 2008 global recession but now it is struggling to keep up its economy and business alive.
Overall the lockdown has created an omnipresent impact on the business all over the world. Time, a precious jewel is getting wasted with no value addition to the world economy. According to the Fitch Rating Agency – the world economic activity could contract by 1.9 %( with Europe up to 4%) leaving a mere insignificant growth for the financial year 2020. The coronavirus as a pandemic has destroyed the business for all the people like a blow from a sword.

MOT EXTENSION CONFUSION AND VEHICLE NEGLECT COULD CAUSE CHAOS FOR BUSINESSES AND THEIR DRIVERS AS LOCKDOWN IS EASED
Venson Automotive Solutions is urging fleet managers to encourage company car drivers to ensure their vehicles are road ready as the nation anticipates an easing of lockdown.
The advice from Venson follows its latest survey of UK motorists which revealed that one in five do not know when their MoT is due, and 69% are unclear about when the Government’s six-month MoT exemption came into play. The survey also found that one in four drivers has deferred a service or repair until after lockdown is lifted and as many as 28% have failed to carry out any basic vehicle health checks since 23rd March. Alison Bell, Marketing Director at Venson Automotive Solutions comments: “Even with the current sixmonth MoT exemption in place, drivers are still responsible for keeping their vehicle in a roadworthy condition – drivers can still be prosecuted if at the wheel of an unsafe vehicle. “Businesses also have a duty of care to ensure their employees who drive on company business are safe and should therefore be encouraging regular safety checks. By carrying out basic maintenance checks, drivers will not only help to reduce the time their vehicle is off the road but importantly, eliminate unnecessary cost for themselves and/or their employer. Additionally, a vehicle kept in a safe, driveable condition, limits their personal inconvenience if it has to be repaired and lessens the burden on roadside assistance providers.” Encouragingly, respondents to the Venson survey have carried out some basic but important tasks; 51% have checked the tyre pressure and 49% have run the engine regularly to keep the battery charged; 42% have checked the oil level. Other maintenance that drivers have carried out include moving the car to test the brakes (41%), measuring tyre tread depth (39%) and ensuring headlights and brake lights are all fully-functioning (34%). Alison Bell continued: “When lockdown is eased, businesses will be keen to begin to make up for lost time, so the last thing they need are drivers to

INDIA EXPORTS PARACETAMOL TO UK With rising tension amid coronavirus, stockpiles of several medical and pharmaceutical items are depleting, one among those is the regular paracetamol. With leading supermarkets out on paracetamol, UK has now turned its eye towards India, the leading producer, and distributor of paracetamol. The government has ordered over 3000000 packs of paracetamol, counting to roughly 45million paracetamol tablets from India. The Indian
government has generously approved 2,800,000 packets, tweaking its export restrictions. The UK Prime Minster Boris Johnson himself called Mr. Modi and requested to lift the restrictions. India faced a similar situation when Donald Trump asked India to supply Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), though it was more of a threat. India is one of the largest producers of paracetamol tablets in the world with a monthly production of 5,600 metric
tons of tablets while the domestic requirement is only about 200 metric tons. The first shipment of the tablets has departed its hub from goa and will reach the UK borders soon. India now supplies all over the world to the countries that need it as a humanitarian gesture, considering they make full advance payments. BOLLYWOOD LOSING ITS BUSINESS
Bollywood is the biggest film industry based in Mumbai. The industry features films with colourful and dynamic styles and moves, the industry is not only known for the bright award-winning stars but also the largest number of releases per year. However, from the past some years, the industry has been facing fierce competition. It was expected to grow to 166.8 Billion rupees in 2023; it now stands at a mere 140 Billion rupees. The cricket betting in the country fetches far more than that. Moreover, there is a steep decline in the box office collections and footfalls this year. The situation has gotten worse with the ongoing coronavirus lockdown which resulted in the halt of all activities. Cinemas across the country have been closed which led to a loss of worth Rs. 450 crore in this march. There is a stiff competition between Bollywood and Hollywood. Hollywood controls about 20% of the box office revenue, with just 80-90 releases a year. There are some reasons behind the downfall of once cinematic giant. Firstly, Indian cinema industry enjoys a large number of audience of nearly 800M viewers, most of which belongs to diversified backgrounds. So, the Hollywood dubbed movies are greatly enjoyed by people that affect the local market. Secondly, the Bollywood is losing its business because of the unrealistic and utopian content, lacking the knowledge and failing to win the hearts of the people. Thirdly, plagiarism i-e copying of the content is another major problem. Many Bollywood movies have copied their content from their counter Hollywood movies. All of the above-mentioned reasons have contributed to the downfall of the Bollywood industry.

COVID-19 MENTAL HEALTH CAMPAIGN LAUNCHED DATA SHOWS OVER 4 IN 5 ADULTS ARE WORRIED ABOUT THE EFFECT THAT CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) IS HAVING ON THEIR LIFE RIGHT NOW
Public Health England’s Every Mind Matters website includes new NHS expert tips and advice on looking after mental wellbeing and supporting your family and loved ones during this time Public Health England’s Every Mind Matters platform has launched new advice, focussed on looking after people’s mental wellbeing during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. It has been updated after new data shows over 4 in 5 (85.2%) people are worried about the effect that coronavirus is having on their life, with over half (53.1%) saying it was affecting their wellbeing and nearly half (46.9%) reporting high levels of anxiety. A range of new resources from Every Mind Matters, designed specifically to help manage our mental wellbeing during coronavirus, includes a tailored COVID-19 Mind Plan, COVID-19 specific content for individuals and their loved ones, and support for specific mental wellbeing issues such as anxiety, stress, low mood and trouble sleeping. The website signposts people to activities such as mindful breathing exercises, help managing
NHS’s Top 5 Tips for maintaining mental wellbeing during the Coronavirus outbreak 1. Talk about your worries: it is normal to feel worried, scared or helpless about the current situation. Maintain contact with friends and family via phone and video calls to share how you are feeling. 2. Keep a regular routine and set goals: you may need to set a new routine for now. Try writing a plan for your day with the things you can still do at home, like watching a film, reading a book or completing a puzzle. Setting goals and achieving them gives a sense of control and purpose. Maintaining good-quality sleep makes a big difference to how you feel mentally and physically too, so it’s important to get enough (the Every Mind Matters sleep page provides practical advice on how to improve your sleep). 3. Manage your media and information intake: if 24-hour news and constant social media updates are making you worried, try to limit the time you spend watching, reading, or listening to coverage of the outbreak to once or twice a day. 4. Do things you enjoy and try something new: focussing on your favourite hobby, learning something new, or simply taking time to relax indoors should give you some relief from anxious thoughts and feelings and can help boost your mood. Look online for lots of free tutorials and courses. 5. Look after your body: our physical health has a big impact on how we feel. At times like these it can be easy to fall into unhealthy patterns of behaviour that end up making you feel worse. Try to eat healthy, well-balanced meals, drink enough water and exercise regularly. You can leave your house, alone or with members of your household, for one form of exercise a day – like a walk, run or bike ride. But make you keep a safe 2-metre distance from others. unhelpful thoughts, and muscle relaxation. To help get this vital message out there, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are supporting Every Mind Matters and have narrated a new short film which is being broadcast across national TV channels. The film portrays a range of people whose lives have been affected by COVID19 and aims to reassure people that support is available and encourages everyone to take care of their mental wellbeing at this difficult time. Health and Social Care Secretary Matt Hancock said: “We have asked people to make unprecedented changes to their day-to-day lives as part of our national effort to respond to this global pandemic. Staying at home and not seeing friends and loved ones can take its toll and it is completely understandable to feel overwhelmed or anxious. “It’s vital that we all look after our mental health in these challenging times, so today we are launching new guidance on the NHS Every Mind Matters website which is tailored to help people deal with this outbreak through practical tips and advice. “Whether it’s through exercise, keeping to a routine, or trying something new – there is so much we can do to keep our minds healthy and prevent issues becoming more serious and I’d encourage everyone to take advantage of this brilliant resource.”
Nadiya Hussain, Great British Bake off star and chef said: “Anxiety can be completely deafening, and right now those suffering with anxiety might be feeling it worse than ever. For me, reaching out to people, talking to my loved ones, helps manage it. You are not alone, a lot of people will also be feeling anxious and scared, and speaking about it with someone you trust will help challenge that anxiety and calm your fears. It’s so important to recognise if you’re struggling with your mental health, and seek out the support you need - and know that it’s OK.”

TECHNOLOGY TRACKER UNVEILS THE TOP TEN REGIONS WHERE CARS WERE MOST STOLEN AND RECOVERED IN 2019 Analysis of theft data recorded by the stolen vehicle recovery (SVR) expert, Tracker, reveals that London continues to top the list of regions where cars are most stolen and recovered. Neighbouring county Essex jumped back up to the number two hot spot, as Essex police constantly discover new ‘chopshops’ where stolen vehicles are stripped down and expensive parts sold on. Comparing the Tracker 2019 data with recently published UK Police Force data[1], West Midlands – which secures third place in the Tracker 2019 league table – saw a 45% increase in vehicle theft across the UK between 2016-19. Hertfordshire and Surrey, which feature seventh and eight places in the Tracker stolen and recovered table, reported a 50% and 44% theft increase respectively, by the UK’s police. “It is clear from both sets of data that thieves have stepped up activity in some regions over recent years,” confirms Clive Wain, Head of Police Liaison at Tracker. “During this period of lockdown, it is even more im-
portant that car owners remain vigilant and do what they can to keep their car safe.” Hot spot regions identified by Tracker include Essex, Kent, Surrey and Hertfordshire in the south east of England, where BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Land Rover were favoured in equal measure by thieves. West and South Yorkshire, Manchester and Merseyside represent the north of England’s criminal hotspots; Merseyside reappears in the league table having dropped out in 2018. The Range Rover Vogue is the most favoured car in Manchester, compared to the BMW X5 being the most stolen and recovered vehicle in neighbouring West Yorkshire. Clive Wain, continues, “Our analysis highlights some interesting manufacturer preferences by region, as 4x4s continuing to dominate our top 10 most desirable makes and models that thieves are stealing. However, whilst it is common for car thieves to target premium marques, we should not underestimate the appetite for lower value cars.”
There has also been an upward trend in keyless car thefts. A massive 92% of the cars Tracker recovered last year were taken without using the keys. This represents a worrying increase of 26% compared with four years ago when the figure stood at 66%. “To help prevent car owners falling victim to keyless car
theft, traditional visual deterrents, such as crook locks and wheel clamps can help deter thieves and are a good investment to make. How-
ever, those motorists that have invested in SVR technology are very clearly benefiting from the protection,” concludes Clive Wain.

Man of Science added to Ruet-e-Hilal Committee For the first time in Pakistan’s history, a member from the Ministry of Science and Technology has been added to the National Body tasked with moon-sighting. Previously, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, which includes religious scholars only, took a decision regarding moon-sighting. But recently, Joint Secretary Ministry of Science and Technology, Dr. Tariq Masood has been appointed as member of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee under the orders issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony. It is important to mention that the methods of moon-sighting were also being debated between the committee and the Science Ministry. The committee insists on “Shahdats” while the authority demands scientific evidence. Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry took to Twitter after the announcement and termed the decision “a step in the right direction”. Previously, Efforts have been made by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government to bring all the stakeholders on the same page and to decide unanimously on the moon-sighting. Fawad Chaudhry, in a press briefing, urged the Ulemas and other members to give them a chance to explain how it works there is nothing wrong in using modern methods. “It is a national issue. The council of Islamic Ideology must play its role to resolve the disputes”, He said.

Chef Ekin :- One of the most important difference between normal cooking and cooking for an Inflight food is to maintain the flavors in food according to the flight temperature. There are 5 senses of tastes (i.e) salty, sweet, sour, bitter and umami. Above 30,000 ft. all flavors are suppressed except umami. Umami flavour can be experienced even when one is above 30,000 ft. That’s why we have to cook food choosing the right ingredients which taste good in the sky. Q.) Do you have any “favourite dish” which you enjoy cooking? Chef Ekin :- I love to cook everything, but mostly I like to prepare desserts. Q.) According to you which is the best Turkish street food to consume in Turkey . Chef Ekin :- Kokoreç . Q.) You can say that only 1% of aircrafts are flying in the sky. World travel and tourism council warned that COVID-19 lead to a massive loss of 50 million jobs in travel and tourism industry. CAPA (Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation) chairman said, “Most of the airlines in the world are going to fold if they have no income for 3 or 4 months because airlines are from a financial structure which heavily depends on cash flow.” From 7thJanuary 2020 many flights are restricted and major airports are closed down and international air travel are banned. The passenger flights turned into cargo flights to take the essential things to different countries. Airlines like Qatar Airways, American Airlines, and Cathay Pacific normally carrying passengers are doing scheduled cargo services. Many airlines grounded their planes on their airports or nearby airports like Emirates fleets grounded at Dubai airports, British Airways aircraft lined up at Bournemouth airport, at Tulsa airport in Oklahoma American airlines stored their many aircrafts , Boeing had shut down their factories in Seattle area for 14 days , Air Canada & WestJet stored many of their aircrafts at Toronto Pearson airport etc. International Air Transport Association said, “Airlines worldwide could lose $252 billion in revenue this year from corona virus pandemic threatening the survival of industry.” IATA said, “Since COVID-19 crisis began, air cargo has been a vital partner in delivering much needed medicines , medical equipment’s ( including spare parts / repair components ) and in keeping global supply

But in this corona virus pandemic airlines are taking this clean-up for prevention. Pilots and Flight attendants are taking extra preventive steps. Airports are on a regular basis implementing additional hygienic measures for safety. Many passengers are cancelling their booking, internet travel agencies are declining, people are using teleconferencing instead of traveling. It is expected that there will be a global revenue loss in 2020 for the passenger business between $63 billion - $113 billion. If this decline continues then many airlines will have to face the threat of bankruptcy. This corona virus outbreak is the hardest hit to aviation industry till now. Experts have warned if the corona virus pandemic lasts for another 2 or 3 months then many airlines will collapse and once this outbreak is over it could take years for the aviation industry to recover.
