What is Asia Pacific Conference ? Asia Pacific Conference (APC) is one of the largest regional conference organized by AIESEC and over 200+ delegates from 24 countries in the Asia-Pacific Region aimed at celebrating youth leadership, cultural diversity and global togetherness. APC is to be the unique platform to the regional network of AIESEC leaders from the Asia-Pacific Region where AIESEC leaders were gathered together in order to develop skills and knowledge, enhance leadership potential, create cross-cultural learning environment, connect to AIESECers from other Local Committees and we need to achieve Peace and Fulfillment of Humankind’s Potential. In the year 2019, APC will be hosted by AIESEC in Thailand from March 24-28, 2019.

ATTRACTIONS Wat Phra Kaew

This temple is more commonly known as Temple of the Emerald Buddha; it is one of the city's most historic temples and is located close to the Grand Palace. The temple's claim to fame and main attraction is the Phra Kaew Morakot, the Emerald Buddha which was carved out of a single piece of jade.
The Jim Thompson House The Jim Thompson House stands on the Saen Saeb canal across from Bangkrua, the building was constructed by Jim Thompson who wanted a home where he could showcase his incredible collection of Asian art.

Chatuchak weekend markets The largest market in Thailand, and one of the largest weekend markets in the world. Chatuchak, also called J.J., is a treasure trove of stalls selling clothing, food, crafts, plants, jewelry, leather goods, hand-made goods, religious articles, collectables and household items.
THAI FOOD Pad Krapow Moo Saap (Fried Basil and Pork) An incredibly popular ‘one plate’ dish for lunch or dinner, fried basil and pork is certainly one of the most popular Thai dishes. It is made in a piping hot wok with lots of holy basil leaves, large fresh chilli, pork, green beans, soy sauce and a little sugar. The minced, fatty pork is oily and mixes with the steamed white rice for a lovely fulfilling meal.

Som Tum (Spicy Green Papaya Salad) Hailing from the Northeast state of Isaan, this outlandish dish is both great divider some can't get enough of its bite, some can't handle it - and greatly distinctive.

Gaeng Keow Wan Kai (Green Chicken Curry) fresh chicken, eggplants, bamboo shoots, coriander, sweet basil. These elements form the body of this green curry.

Main Events Opening Ceremony Opening ceremony is the official ceremony which welcomes the delegation from more than 26 countries to Thailand with colorful Thai traditional performances. For the Opening Ceremony, the Chief Guest (Governmental Figure), Guests (representative of 10 universities in Thailand), Partners and university students from 10+ universities will be participating to welcome the delegation
Global Village Global Village is an unprecedented opportunity for youth from 26+ countries to celebrate culture, traditions, cuisines, and lifestyles and promote the specialties of their home countries. Friend and tolerance all over the world is encouraged through cross cultural understanding.
World’s Largest Lesson Delegates will get to go into local schools in Thailand in order to make aware in Thai youths about Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and discuss the current global, national and local issues. The idea is to outreach future young leaders and engage them in our vision and thereby address the current global issues.
Youth Speak Forum The United Nations (UN) together with AIESEC have started a new path of collaboration. AIESEC in partnership with UN acts as a major youth organization working toward Sustainable Development Goals. Youth Speak Forum is an official focal point which brings together both young and senior leaders to form a diverse cross-sector and multi generational space for inspiring conversations around pressing global, national and local issues. The main goal is to outreach every young person and engage them in our vision and thereby address the current global issues.
Gala Night
Thai Night
Gala Night is where entities of AIESEC are awarded for their impact on the world and performance. It is the most glamorous formal event in the conference to appreciate the best of the best in the region.
Thailand is the land of many proud cultures and traditions. It has never failed to attract foreign visitors. Since then, Thai Night will be a chance of celebration of culture, festivals and diversity unique to Thailand with local cuisine and performances which will showcase Thailand. You’ll get to see the perfect platform of showcasing localization and understanding of Thai culture.
