Electromagnetic and Maritime R&D in Singapore

The stories The Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC) in Singapore announced an 18-month research consortium between the institute and five industry participants, valued at S$1.5million. The aim of the consortium is to leverage expertise in the fields of wireless communication and high-speed electronic design in order to drive innovation forward.

IHPC also entered into a S$3.4 million collaboration with Singapore’s Maritime Port Authority to help maritime companies sharpen their competitive edge. This includes the development of advanced designs for semi-submersible jack-up rigs and the application of large-scale computational fluid dynamics. IHPC is a research institute under the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR).
