PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The interior project of Azerbaijan Ministry of Taxes office building. The project was the interior project of a 170 m tall skyscraper which is composed of five twisting cubes and a podium. The tower team, worked on the office and meeting spaces. The podium team, worked on the impressive entrance and auditorium zones. The giant staircase which welcomes everyone who enters the building floats between two floors with its 54 treads without any landing throughout 8.67 meters of height. Experimental use of materials were studied during the design phase. My contribution to the project was the entrance zone and its elements including the giant staircase.

TRENDYOL CAMPUS

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The interior project of Trendyol, online shopping website, headquarter office. This space was originally planned as the shopping mall under the Spine Tower. Later it was rented for 10 years by Trendyol to be used as an office. Due to its primary assigned program a huge atrium space with a skylight has been there since the beginning. The client asked for a dynamic and young design proposal with the aim to create a homey working space for its employers. The atrium space has two main functions. First is serving the main circulation zone of the office by connecting its three floors with a continious organic ramp design. Second is creating flexible socialization and working area which has a great daylight source through the sklight. My contribution to the project was the design of the circulation scenairo of the office, the ramp being the leading part.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The campus project of Mingachevir State University. The project is the master plan design of the University. It consists of three phases. In the first phase three of the education buildings were deeply designed and studied. The education hotel building was one of the buildings in the first phase. As the only resposible architectural designer of the education hotel building, the construction set was successfully prepared with the coordination of other responsible groups including static, mechanical and electrical engineers. The production of drawings and 3D model was done with Autodesk Revit tool from day zero until the submission.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This project includes interor design of a four-story main mansion building with the two-story private guest house and a staff house placed within the same garden. In total the project includes 700 m2 interior space, and 500 m2 outdoor space area. The biggest challege of this project was to meet with the needs of its new owner and to update the interior design while still showing respect to its historical old exterior design. The main goal was harmonizing the characteristics of the old watrerisde mansion typology with today’s design understanding. The concept design was developed during the beginning of Covid 19 pandemic. The construction started on September 2020, and the coordination of electrical, mechanical, structural and architectural disciplines were closely monitored by me.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Located on the slopes of Hebil, one of Bodrum’s most beautiful bays, this 17-residence development is designed with inspiration from the spirit of Aegean villages. The villas are positioned to take advantage of a 270-degree view, ensuring each residence has a broad outlook. Each villa has its own pool and private garden, allowing residents to enjoy peaceful and private moments. There are three types of villas. Type A villas are located closest to the sea and are designed to maximize the view. Type B villas have a large garden area and make efficient use of the basement. In Type C villas, the plot is divided, with the living room and terrace in a separate block, defining a spacious living area. My contribution to the project was being responsible from Type C villas in all phases including design development, production of permist sets and construction drawings.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This is the renewal project of a family owned apartment building located in Teşvikiye, İstanbul. Including the basement floor and the duplex penthouse floors, apartment has 6 floors. The building has 144 square meters of footprint. One of the biggest challenges of this project was the historcial neighbour building which extended the projects timeline due to entering in the process of the council of monuments. The goals of this project included; renewing the old apartment with a modern looking up to date apartment building which will also become a precedent to its neighborhood. The permission set, council of monuments set , and the construction set was successfully prepared with the coordination of other resposible groups including structural, mechanical and electrical engineers. The construction was followed closely in every step.
