Inclusive school is a place where both regular students and special needs students learn while sharing the same physical space and interacting socially and academically. The proposed project was to create an inclusive school where each and every child will have an equitable access to education and to create awareness that every child irrespective of their disabilities must have a quality education and a place where they feel respected and included. The school included hearing impaired, non physically challeneged and children with mobility aid studying together in the classroom
WAYFINDING Wayfinding is effective to accomodate diverse needs. Visual cues such as landmarks, signages, colours and light is used as communication systems to create inclusive buildings that accomodates everyone
SITE PLAN
The primary and the secondary school are designed in a circular plan with an open area in the center. The ground floor accomodates primary classes, library, therapy rooms and sensory garden.
SOCIAL INTERACTION SPACES The school if designed with more open spaces for social interaction. It is said to enhance emotions and behavior and to improve mental health and social interactions.
