Company History Andrews & Robertson was established in 1855 and has been at the hub of the UK’s auction market for over 150 years, with current auctioneers combining more than 50 years of experience on the rostrum. During this time, it has acted for banks, building societies, corporate clients, executors, housing associations, institutions, local authorities, property companies, private individuals, public sector bodies, trustees and charities. Quinton Scott was founded in 1975 and practiced as a firm of Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents until the merger - with its specialist teams covering all aspects of residential and commercial business, including sales, lettings, new homes, land, mortgage services, business based retail, investment consultancy, surveys, valuations, town planning, property management, corporate consultancy and public sector duties. The merger in 2012 brings these two strong businesses together in a powerful combination of commercial and residential sales and lettings expertise, coupled with the services of the UK’s leading independent auctioneers and surveyors.

We also advertise extensively in the local press and in quality magazines - as well as targeting our database of professional landlords, who are regularly buying investment properties to add to their portfolios.

Services Provided We sell property from our two offices which are prominently located in Wimbledon and Wimbledon Village, as well as covering West Wimbledon, Raynes Park, Southfields, Putney and Coombe. Residential Lettings and Management andrew scott robertson is a corporate member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (www.arla.co.uk) and abides by their strict bye-laws. Our professional and highly trained staff have been working in the industry for many years and have thorough knowledge of the local market. We take pride in finding the right tenant for your property. We have our own in-house lettings management department, enabling us to deal with the tenants on your behalf for the duration of the tenancy. Two service levels are offered - standard lettings and rent collection, or an enhanced management service which also includes periodic property inspection visits and the handling of any maintenance issues on your behalf.

Lettings and Rent Collection Service Whether you are an experienced landlord or renting your property out for the first time, we provide a professional service which starts with a free market appraisal and assessment of the rental value. Once a rent has been agreed, the service continues with marketing from our two high street offices in Wimbledon Village and Wimbledon Town. We also market via our website and via internet portals including Rightmove and Prime Location, as well as carrying out local newspaper and magazine advertising. All viewings are accompanied by a Lettings Consultant, and once a tenant has been identified, our services are as follows: • Full referencing and credit checks on your prospective tenants • Drawing up the tenancy agreement, including managing the inventory • Organising gas and electrical checks and Energy Performance Certificates • Holding the tenant’s deposit in an approved Tenancy Deposit Scheme • Collecting rent on a monthly basis and paying this into your bank account by BACS within 10 working days, on an agreed date • Negotiating tenancy renewals on your behalf • Managing checkout procedures and inspections when tenants leave • Offering discounted rates for Rent Protection Policies

Residential and Commercial Property Auctions andrew scott robertson is one of the leading property auctioneers in the country and is rated within the top five out of more than 300 nationwide in the Estates Gazette League Table of Auctioneers. We hold seven or eight sales each year in Central London, offering between 100 and 160 properties at each sale. These are mainly located in all parts of London and the south east of England, but we also handle auction properties anywhere in the UK. Our buyers are predominantly from the UK, but we now also have more enquiries from the Middle East, the Far East, Europe and Russia. We can auction all types of property and land on your behalf including houses, flats, investments, shops, offices and industrial premises and sites. In order to attract interest in your property, we mail out 5,000 catalogues for each sale, generating approximately 50,000 hits on our website during each marketing period. We act for a wide range of sellers who use the auction route on a regular basis, including a number of London boroughs, government departments, LPA receivers, mortgagees, public and private property companies, executors, trustees and private investors. Most of the properties we auction for our clients provide opportunities to improve the overall value or the current letting income through refurbishment, or through obtaining planning consent to add value to the land or buildings.
