EUROWORKSHOP “Lithium Resources in Portugal” This EuroWorkshop aims to draw attention to the role Portugal may play in the supply of lithium to the European industry. The geology of major lithium deposits in Portugal, the technological advances related to its mineral and metallurgical processing, the reduction of adverse environmental impacts related to its extraction and the legal aspects associated to exploration and mining rights are among the topics that will be addressed. We count on the active participation of the geoscience and mining communities, representatives of government authorities, regional development experts and students.
