The 2018-19 campaign marks the program's 91st season with the Red Wolves amassing a 1,201-1,156 all-time record (.510) dating back to the inaugural 1926-27 season ... A-State is 20-7 in its Sun Belt Conference home opener ... Thursday's game marks the fifth time that South Alabama is the opponent for A-State's home opener in league play and the Red Wolves are 4-0 in the previous meetings ... The Red Wolves 94 points scored at Louisiana marked the most for any A-State team in a Sun Belt Conference road game and most in a conference road contest since the 1965-66 season in which it earned a 99-84 win at Southland Conference foe Trinity ... Ty Cockfield II has nine games with 20 or more points this season, fifth most among NCAA Division I athletes this season ... As of games played Jan. 7, Ty Cockfield is among just 11 players nationally to average 20.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game this season ... A-State is off to a 5-0 start at home for the 12th time in 32 seasons played at First National Bank Arena ...
