Operating from three manufacturing sites, totalling 110,000 square feet, Astraseal is one of the UK’s largest and most successful fabricators. Astraseal was established in 1979 and was one of the first companies to manufacture uPVC windows in the UK.
uPVC products offer high levels of security and thermal insulation whilst also requiring very little maintenance. At Astraseal we have over 40 years of experience manufacturing uPVC glazing products and can supply installers with a wide variety of uPVC windows, doors and roofing solutions.

Astraseal’s range of Tilt & Turn windows tilt inwards but can also be fully opened in the traditional manner, allowing for an effective fire escape and easy cleaning.
Manufactured from REHAU’s Total70, 70mm profile, REHAU Tilt & Turn windows are glazed internally and available in a range of finishes and a wide variety of colours to suit any demand.
We also manufacture REHAU Total70R fully reversible windows - a product specifically designed for residential and commercial buildings. Whether it’s housing association, multistorey buildings or non-domestic spaces, our fully reversible windows are compatible with most existing British architecture - accommodating both double and triple glazed units up to 44mm.

The Rio Flush Casement window is based on the authentic, traditional design of a timber window, but with all the benefits of modern uPVC performance. The styles consist of a casement window side hung, top hung and French window where the sash fits flush into the frame.
The Rio Flush Fit is manufactured as standard with the sculptured frame profile and sculptured bead. The Rio Flush casement is available from Astraseal either fully mitre welded or as a mechanical look weld to replicate the appearance of a timber window.

Vertical Sliding Sash Windows
REHAU
Designed to replicate traditional timber box sash windows, the REHAU Heritage window system will provide your customers with a traditional-looking sash window combined with the numerous benefits of modern uPVC windows.
Manufactured by Astraseal, the REHAU Heritage is superbly engineered and is of exceptional quality. Classic-style hardware and fittings and optional decorative horns replicate the traditional timber sash window to create a stunning finish.
The system has two sashes built into the frame which slide in opposing directions and will remain in any position.
The Heritage system’s deep bottom rail has been designed to replicate the aesthetics of a traditional timber window and can be used with either a slimintermediate sash combination or intermediate-large sash combination.
The issue of draughts with timber sash windows is negated with the REHAU Heritage vertical slider; triple brush seals are incorporated into the innovative system, creating a highly effective method of draught proofing.

In March 2020 Astraseal became the first UK manufacturer to be awarded the third-party certification under the BM Trada scheme, STD170. The new Astraseal Fire Safety Doors were approved by BM Trada under the Q Mark Scheme - an independent third-party certification scheme that assures performance, quality, reliability and traceability of fire protection products. More recently Astraseal successfully tested door designs incorporating glazed panels within them, enabling an industry leading range of both solid and glazed FD30 door designs to be available.

Each property is a different shape and size and it is important to get the details right from the start. With our free design service, our experienced designers will explore layouts, products and styles with you to ensure you have the best fit for the job. Our expert team can provide services for complete pre-construction strategy, conservatory design, bespoke manufacture, materials specification and more.
