It was clear from an early love of old Hollywood glamour, her teenage sketchpad filled with 1950s inspired illustrations, and her passion for the style of bygone eras Astrid’s destiny lay in a creative future. After working with clients including Diesel, Marie Claire, and Swarovski, Astrid’s feminine, elegant work was noticed by leading wedding publications The Knot (New York) and You and Your Wedding (London). A friend’s fortuitous request to create an illustration for a client’s wedding stationery and cake topper opened the door to Astrid’s new career. Her first wedding project was such a success that the romantic-at-heart designer was inspired to open Astrid Mueller LLC, specializing in figurative wedding illustrations.
