Degree programs at ASU’s College of Health Solutions can prepare you to make a positive difference in health and health care. Our graduates are highly qualified health professionals who have an impact in homes, communities, schools, workplaces and clinical settings. You will learn what it means to improve health outcomes for individuals across their life span and help to make good health happen.
Students who wish to gain admission to professional school (e.g., medical, dental, physician assistant, physical therapy, occupational therapy, chiropractic, veterinary, optometry) may pursue any bachelor’s degree. The AAS-to-BAS transfer pathway allows students who have an Associate of Applied Science degree from a regionally accredited community college to transfer their degree as a block of credit toward a Bachelor of Applied Science degree.

This degree is a unique partnership between Phoenix College and ASU. Complete an AAS in medical laboratory science through Phoenix College and a BAS in medical laboratory science through ASU. All course work is offered at Phoenix College with some courses taught in a hybrid format or offered online.
Career opportunities as a medical laboratory scientist and clinical lab scientist, highly skilled professionals who perform analytical tests on blood, tissue and body fluids in order to provide laboratory information for the detection, diagnosis and treatment of human diseases.
