In the theatre program in the School of Music, Dance and Theatre, our students gain real-world, hands-on experience in emerging fields and technology, from intimacy coordination to digital design techniques to cutting-edge screen acting methods. Students in the program are uniquely positioned to realize their own creative vision, including serving in lead production, design and performance roles on the main stage. They graduate ready to transform the future of the arts through principled leadership and well-honed creative problem-solving skills.
Undergraduate programs
• Bachelor of Arts in Theatre optional concentrations: design and production, acting
• Bachelor of Arts in Performance and Movement focus areas: dance and theatre, social and partnership dance, hip-hop arts
• Minors: theatre (costume design and technology), theatre (sound design and technology), theatre
Graduate programs
• Master of Fine Arts in Theatre concentrations: directing, dramatic writing, theatre for youth and community, interdisciplinary digital media and performance*
