Academic Success, Holiday Observances Highlight Final Month of 2016 at ASU-Newport While December was an abbreviated month for everyone at ASU-Newport due to the holiday break, it was a busy month. In addition to holiday observances of all kinds, ASU-New-
port celebrated the graduation of two nursing classes. December also marked the end of the Fall 2016 semester. With the close of the semester, more than 280 ASU-Newport
students were recognized for academic excellence by being named to the Chancellor’s or Vice-Chancellor’s lists. For a complete list of students who were named to the lists and
their hometowns, see page four. Join us as we take a look back at the month of December and the many activities that were celebrated at ASU-Newport.
